THE ISLAMIC AND THE CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE OF THE ANTICHRIST

It will interest you to know that there are parallels between the antichrist as mentioned in the bible and the Koran.
Islamic scholars believe in an end time messiah. Sunni Moslems know him as the Moslem Christ, Shi’ite Moslems as the Mahdi. Islam believe that when their messiah comes, he is going to rule the whole world, he is going to cover the whole world and that he is going to turn against the Christians and the Jews. He is going to call himself a man of peace and he is going to come at a time of chaos and confusion and people longing for who to guide them and lead them and bring them peace because there will be wars. Both the bible and Islam talks about his seven year global reign from Jerusalem.
The personality of the antichrist is still a mystery. This will continue to be so maybe till after the rapture. The bible tells us about him in these words calling him a man of sin and perdition
2Thess 2:3-4
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition ;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
These are some bible verses that make people to point to Islam as the religion of the antichrist.
• Islam is the only religion that beheads people Rev 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
• Is a religion which outrightly denies the father and the son 1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist , that denieth the Father and the Son.
• Islam is a religion that never preached love. Ask any Moslem to give you the equivalent of Matt 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
or
Matt 22:37-39
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
• The Koran is the only scripture that supports violence and intimidation to propagate religion.
• Islam does not separate politics from religion rather it is the only religion that preaches and carries out the subversion of any state that is not headed by a Moslem
Events in the world today have given serious backing to believe that the antichrist will be a Moslem.
On September 17th, 2005 the newly elected president of Iran Ahmedinajad addressed the UN national assembly in New York, concluding his speech, Ahmedinajad open prayer and pledge to Allah to speedily bring forth the emergence of the mysterious messiah figure known as the Madhi. Journalists and scholars scramble to understand exactly what he meant.
Some Shiites have started proceedings to bring about the prophesied tide of the Mahdi to make it happen, that is why Ahmedinajad tried to acquire nuclear weapons to attack Israel in order to bring about chaos so that they force their madhi or twelfth khalifa to show up
The ISIS or what some people call DAESH also have that concept that if chaos and bloodshed reigns supreme, their messiah will come. That is why they shed so much blood.
Almost every morning I woke up as a result of the blaring of horn speakers from a mosque behind our residence. The preacher is always justifying hate, violence, war and preaching against Christ. There are many early prayer callers in the mosques like that who does the same not only all over the country but also in other countries of the world – Europe included.
Aside from the presence of Islamic cult groups like Boko Haram, the Fulanis seems to have caught the Madhist bug. With the power of impunity aided by the powers that be, they have snatched and occupied whole villages, seizing farmlands and throwing bombs in our cities. Their mobility as herdsmen is an advantage for them to disappear and their atrocities condemned as the work of foreigners by their henchman, Buhari.
Lastly, believers of the major religions have already being working to bring him into the world and welcome him. The already popular COEXIST bumper sticker is a case in point.
We Christians must be rest assured that Christ is coming according to 1Thess. 4.16-17 and 1Cor.15.50-52, we should wash our garments in holiness, righteousness and truth.
