Can A Child of God Learn from this?
Sure!
Here's a short inspirational story.
The #20,000 Seed
There was once a man named Daniel who lived in a small town and had fallen on extremely hard times. After losing his job and falling behind on his rent, Daniel was blessed with a #100,000 in his account, and so excited but remembered a problem he desperately needed to solve.
That week, he faced a crucial issue, he owed a debt of #200,000 that, if unpaid, would cause him to lose what little he had left a place to stay, and the trust of someone who had helped him before.
The #100,000 was his last hope.
But Daniel was a man of faith. He remembered a principle he had been taught since childhood by his mother, "Honor God with your tithes and first fruits. Give, and it shall be given to you."
Even though it made no financial sense, Daniel made a decision that would change his life forever.
He took #20,000 a full tithe and a seed of his last #100,000 and gave it to his local church.
His stomach turned as he dropped the folded bill into the offering box. "God, I trust You. Even now," he whispered.
That same evening, something unexpected happened.
An old friend, whom Daniel hadn't seen in years, called him out of the blue. His friend who lived his life in diaspora, came to the country to start a small business and needed someone trustworthy to help with operations. He offered Daniel a job on the spot with an advance of #300,000 to help him get started.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Daniel paid off the #200,000 debt and for the first time in months, he exhaled with peace.
That job didn’t just meet his needs. It opened doors. Within a year, Daniel had saved enough to start his own small logistics company. Contracts rolled in. One opportunity led to another, and before long, he was not just surviving he was living big.
But he never forgot that moment when he sowed a #20,000 seed in the middle of his storm.
Today, Daniel is a successful entrepreneur, a generous giver, and a living testimony that sometimes, the key to breakthrough is found in sacrifice not comfort.
Moral of the story:
Even when it doesn’t make sense, choosing faith over fear can unlock unexpected blessings. A small act of obedience can become the seed of a transformed future.
Be faithful...
