Intimacy is a deep realm in relating with God as your Father.Jesus is God in the flesh and he still relate intimately with God as His Father.
Prayers do not produce intimacy, neither do they mean intimacy with God. Muslims and idol worshippers also pray.
Intimacy with God requires much efforts and it takes time. Just as it takes time to be intimate with your fellow man.It is a deliberate and strategic thing. You need to understand the person you are intimate with. God knows us,but you need to know him too.They that know their God shall be strong and do exploit. Intimacy with the Father changes you.
Intimacy with God is what draws you closer to Him,you learn His ways,His paths, His truth and all about Him. You need to know all he had revealed to His Sons.
_HOW TO BECOME INTIMATE WITH GOD_
👉"come unto me" Jesus said this in matt 11:28.You need to come to Jesus, He is the only way through which you can get to the Father. That means you need to surrender all to Jesus."I am the way,the truth and the life "Jesus is the only way!!!.
👉"learn of me" matt 11:29.Jesus said when you see me,you've seen the Father; if you must know God, then he had given us the manifestation of Himself, Jesus is the express image of God being made manifest in the flesh.If you want to know God,know Jesus.
👉" receive me to become like me" John 1:12. Until you become like Jesus, that is,until you receive all His fullness,you cannot be intimate with God. " and of His fullness have we all received and grace for grace" John 1:16. In receiving the fullness of Christ, you are being transformed into the same image of Christ and you become like Him.All God want to relate intimately with is Christ in you. "My children of whom I travail in birth,until Christ be formed in you". My mission is not yet completed until Christ is formed in you.
If you've not passed through this stage of Christ being formed in you, you cannot be intimate with God. You will only have the head knowledge of Him when you read the Bible and Christian books or when you listen to messages about Him or watch Christian movies,but you will never be intimate with Him; *you need to know that intimacy starts from the heart* .Your heart must be transformed into that of Christ.

*The issue of the heart is what we really need to work on cause the state of heart of a man no one knows even the Bible says "the heart of a man is desperately wicked who can know it"? Jeremiah 17vs9.....*

*Which means even the owner of the heart can be deceived by the heart he or she is carrying that's why we need to surrender our heart to God I was meditating one day and I just thought about David a man after God's own very heart who could think one day he will kill a man and take his wife?.....*

*He signed a man death sentence and say go and die just for him to take his wife.....*

*Just because you're not rich you never thought one day you could insult a woman of your mother's age you never thought you could harass a man of your father's age just because you're not rich yet you're not yet influential so you think you're just a kind hearted gentle man*

*We need to be Frank with ourself and prayer the prayer of David and say according to Ps.139.23 - Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts.....*

*Just because those evil thoughts, acts, behavior, attitude are not manifesting now does not mean they're not there we really need to pray to God to search our heart and know our thoughts......*

*You can surrender your heart to Him today by surrendering your life and He will lead you to the way everlasting......*

*Ps.139.24 - And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.*
