My debt is paid, once and for all

“So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” (Hebrews 9:28)

I am justified

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. “ (Romans 5:9)

I am forgiven

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7)

I am spared from God’s wrath

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. “ (Romans 5:9)

I am being spiritually healed; one day even my flesh will be replaced with an incorruptible body

“…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sin, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” (I Peter 2:24)

I am spiritually alive

“Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53)

My judgment has been satisfied and I am at peace with God

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

The bloodstream of His people Israel will be purged

“For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwells in Zion” (Joel 3:21)

I am cleansed

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (I John 1:7)

I have the power to overcome the enemy

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11)

I am no longer under the curse of the law

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).” (Galatians 3:13)

But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. Heb. 8:6 NLT

How to Make The Name of Jesus Work for You
Acts 3: 4 –9, 16 –And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. “And His name (Jesus Christ), through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and have knowledge of: yes, the faith which is through Him has made him well, before you all.
The name of Jesus is the greatest of all names but for it to produce for you, you have to learn how to use it effectively. You must be aware that the name of Jesus works for people within certain parameters and will not be effective outside of such conditions.
According to the above scripture, for the name of Jesus to produce for you, you will have to have faith in the name. You must believe in what the name stands for i.e. total salvation for the total man. It means salvation and preservation on all fronts; nothing missing and nothing broken.
Furthermore, if you are not born gain, you have not set yourself up for the flow of God’s power because that is the first essential step into triumphant life. If you are born again I want you to know that at salvation the God kind of faith was imparted into your human spirit and it was that faith that transformed you into a new creature. The faith is still alive and well within your human spirit but you need to build it up by feeding on God’s word daily.
For the name of Jesus to produce when you call him, you have to realise that you have the God kind of faith resident in your human spirit as a child of God. You therefore have to feed your spirit with the word of God so that you can grow effectively.
For the name of Jesus to produce for you, you have to put your faith in the name. The combination of the two becomes a spiritual explosion and sends the devil on the run. It is also important for you to know that for the name to come into action for you, you have to call it with authority and absolute confidence. You cannot call the name timidly because the name is full of power. You have to call the name like Peter and John in Acts 3 and make a command like an army general and expect to see results. In many cases, I have seen instantaneous results while using the name of Jesus and in some cases it took a period of time but the bottom line is “I always end up triumphant”. Good Morning.

The Power of Praying in God's name.

Over and over again in Scripture we read, "In my name," "In Jesus' name," or "In his name." The devils were powerless because of his name (Luke 10:17). The demons were cast out in his name (Mark 16:17-18). Healing occurred in his name (Acts 3:6, 3:16, 4:10). Salvation comes in his name (Acts 4:12, Rom. 10:13). We are to baptize in his name (Matt. 28:19). We are justified in his name (1 Cor. 6:11). Everything we do and say is done in his name (Col. 3:17). But, it is praying in Jesus' name that I want to bring to the forefront. Jesus has invited, urged, and commanded us to pray in his name and has promised incredible results.

John 14:13-14 and John 16:23-24 are some of the most powerful verses in all of scripture related to prayer. In fact, when most of us pray we conclude with the phrase, "in Jesus' name."

But what does it mean to pray in the name of Jesus? When we pray in Jesus' name

1. We are admitting the bankruptcy of our own name.

When I pray in Jesus' name I come boldly before God because of the power of his name. It would be like a bride coming from abject poverty to marry a wealthy husband. At that point the woman takes the name of her husband and all that entails. She no longer acts in her name, but in his.

2. We identify with the person of Jesus Christ.

Jesus has literally given us his name. When I use that name, I am confessing that he is mine and that I am his. It is like going to the bank of heaven, knowing I have nothing deposited. If I go in my name I will get absolutely nothing. But Jesus Christ has unlimited funds in heaven's bank, and he has granted me the privilege of going to the bank with his name on my checks.

3. We pray in his authority.

We are like the child who picked up a policeman's hat, wandered out onto a busy intersection and began to direct traffic. The people in the cars followed the child's direction because they respected his position of authority. To pray in his name is to ask by his authority; and to ask by his authority is to ask in accordance to his will as revealed in his word.

4. We submit to his will.

Jesus' authority rested with his submission to the Father, so our authority rests with our submission to him. To ask in his name is to ask according to his nature, and his nature is one of submission. This, by the way, is why prayers that ask for things contrary to the Word of God will never be answered.

5. We are representing him and his interests here on earth.

It is much the same as the legal arrangement known as the power of attorney. In such matters one person may represent another in his absence. They act in their behalf. Jesus has given every believer unlimited and general power of attorney in all matters and with the right to use his name in every situation.

6. We pray expectantly.

When we pray in Jesus' name, we may expect the answer in accord with the value of his name. So we can pray with great and excited expectation.

Good Morning.

Authority in the Name of Jesus

Jesus gave every believer in His name on earth the authority to use that name. The transfer of this type authority in our world today, is what is recognized in legal terms as “The Power of Attorney”. A Power of Attorney is the authority that is given to another person, so as to act on behalf of the issuer in legal or any other matters.

Jesus gave us the power to use His name on earth in the same manner. We are acting as His representative on earth today. Everything that Jesus wants to get done on earth today, He does it through the believers in His name, who has been given the Power of Attorney to act on His behalf.

The terms of the transfer of power is always included in the document that transfers that power. And how powerful that transfer is, will be determined by the value in it that is put in place by the issuer.

The Bible is the document that clearly highlights the transfer of authority to the believers. Every sentence inside it with the red ink, where Jesus reveals the transfer of such authority to the believers itemizes the transfer itself.

The value of our power as believers in His name was put on that name by Jesus when He said:

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And again He said:

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.””

‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:17-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

These words of Jesus in the Bible makes the transfer of power to all believers in His name legally binding on earth, in the heavens and under the earth. This means human, angelic and demonic beings of the three worlds are bond to respond to the name of Jesus.

We must note here that the authority was given to humans only, of all the three beings.

This transfer of authority makes both the angelic and demonic beings, to wonder about the enormous power given to the believers in Christ. Humans are the last of the three beings to be created by God.

The scriptures says:

“It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:5-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We do have enormous power available to us in the name of Jesus, that makes every angelic and demonic being to wonder about the power and authority in us. God gave it to only the believers in that name – Jesus.

Every time we call on that name, God in Heaven sees us through the eyes of Jesus. We can use His name in getting anything that we want.

And just like any Power of Attorney, Jesus gave us the power to use His name while He was still on earth (John 16:24). In legal terms that kind of delegation of authority is binding on the receiver of the authority, since the issuer is alive and in right mind when it was issued. Jesus was yet to go to the cross where He gave us His name to use.

A dead man or a person without the ability to reason cannot do this. This will render it non binding. The power of attorney that Jesus gave to us, as Christians more than two thousand years ago, is still binding and effective in our world today.

A man that wins the battle of possession and lack management skills will surely loss the possession. It takes wisdom and management skills to sustain, keep your possession and generate more possession for you. Happy New Month.
