RULES GUIDING OUR THANKSGIVING OFFERINGS IN CELESTIAL CHURCH.....
Thanksgiving offering is one of the requirements accounted as part of a complete service for every worshipers in CCC. It is not to be done just because we are given a message to do it. Rather, it must be a necessity and mandatory module in church operations which further transcends into our daily lives. Thanksgiving offering is a way of appreciating God for what he has done; what he is doing presently and what he is going to do in the future.
Let me tell you something today, inasmuch as our God Almighty values Thanksgiving and praises a lot, it is imperative for all living being to acknowledge the purpose and continually present before the father our offerings to showing how much we do appreciate his works,manifestation, redemption, protection, victory, salvation and blessings upon us.
Therefore in this article, I am going to highlight 10 rules guiding our Thanksgiving offering in Celestial church of Christ for us to understanding how it should be done and the results behind an acceptable Thanksgiving in this fold.
1. Shepherds or Clergies present during a service are the only certified people to anchor thanksgiving offering in Celestial church and they must say a little prayer while on their knees before standing to receiving the offering. What the Shepherd/Clergy needs to say is this: '' Lord Jesus, forgive my sins, sanctify me and count me worthy to receive this Thanksgiving offering that your children has brought before you, Amen''.
Meanwhile, after benediction, Those who anchored the Thanksgiving procession must bow down at the same spot to also offer another short prayer with this statement: "Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me the opportunity to receiving this Thanksgiving offering from the congregation. Amen".
The reason is to submit all authority through grace to God Almighty who alone is worthy of receiving our Thanksgiving offerings.
