"Lord Of My Life"
(feat. Andrew Holt)

All of my steps are ordered by You
You give every breath that I take
And only a kind God gives power to choose
So it is my privilege to say

You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Yes, You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Jesus Christ

Though I may stumble, I will not fall
For I am upheld by Your hand
And even in trial, I'll count it as joy
To say it again and again

That You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Jesus Christ
You are, You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Jesus Christ, oh

You're the Lord
The King of Kings
Lord over it all, Lord over it all
Let all else fade away, let all else fade away

Every knee will bow, every tongue confess
But it's my joy to do it now, Lord Jesus
Every eye will see You in Your glory
But I get to seek You now, Lord Jesus
Every knee will bow, every tongue confess
But it's my joy to do it now, Lord Jesus
Every eye will see You in Your glory
But I get to seek You now, Lord Jesus
And there will be a day, tears will be no more
The angels and the saints will worship and adore
I'll enter Heaven's gates, forever sing Your name
But I get to sing it now, Lord Jesus
Oh Jesus, Yes, I get to sing it now, Lord Jesus
I sing Your name, Jesus
Yes, I get to sing it now

That You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (You are, You are)
You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Jesus Christ

There will be a day tears will be no more
The angels and the saints will worship and adore
I'll enter Heaven's gates, forever sing Your name
But I get to sing it now, Lord Jesus
I lift high Your name, Jesus
Yes, I get to sing it now, Lord Jesus
[?], all praise, all glory to Jesus
Yes, I get to sing it now, Lord Jesus

All praise to You, Jesus
All praise to You, Jesus
The King of kings
The praise is [?], the praise is [?]

Come take Your place, come take Your place
Come take Your place, King Jesus
Come take Your place, come take Your place
Come take Your place, King Jesus
Come take Your place, come take Your place
Come take Your place, King Jesus
Come take Your place, come take Your place
Come take Your place, King Jesus
Hey

You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
You are the Lord
You're the Lord of my life
Jesus Christ

The lyrics above clearly state what the desire of humans should be about God, Almighty! Whoever or whatever you are, you don't own yourself. There is a supreme being who you must surrender to His Lordship over your life. Noth that alone, He must be the saviour of your life (soul) from sin. 3 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Read and study these lyrics and make a decision to God.

This is a trustworthy saying:

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)

The Scripture, Matthew 16:26, enlightens us on the value of salvation, comparing that salvation is by far more valuable than all the lots that the world has to offer to mankind. Moreover, the Scripture is self-explanatory enough. No man, as yet, has been able to amass for himself all the wealth of the world – everything; but even if it were possible to have the whole world, it is still not worth it to forfeit your salvation for the world.

The salvation of the soul is the most priceless thing. To what would you compare salvation? It is the best thing to ever happen in the life of man.

… “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Salvation is a choice. You can make that choice now. In fact, you are a prayer away from your salvation; the Bible says, “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10).

[1] O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? [2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? [3] Are ye so foolish? Galatians 3:1-3

It is absolute foolishness when light tries to copy from darkness or always makes an effort to imitate what's happening in the seat of the scornful or groups of the unrighteous.

Surprisingly, it's no longer darkness trying to turn to light but those supposedly lights are the ones turning away from the light to darkness.

Who has bewitched the congregation of the supposed Christians?

Many people think that going to church occasionally or simply believing in God makes them a Christian. But the Bible presents a different perspective and definition of a Christian. A Christian is someone whose behavior and heart reflects Jesus Christ. Followers of Jesus were first called “Christians” in Antioch.

Acts 11:26 says, "…for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." They were called "Christians" because their speech and behavior were like Christ.

What Does it Mean to Behave Like Jesus Christ?
As a Christian, someone who has put faith and trust in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ through His death on the cross and subsequent resurrection, our behavior mirrors, reflects and resembles Christ.

Being gracious and merciful to others is behaving like Christ.

Forgiving, loving and praying for our enemies is Christ-like.

Welcoming and serving the marginalized, the "least" among us, is being like Jesus.

Caring for the sick, needy, underprivileged, widowed, orphaned, poor, abused, and vulnerable—those who are last—mirrors and reflects the Son of Man.

Striving for justice resembles Jesus.

But it’s not simply good works that make someone a Christian. Being a follower and disciple of Jesus extends beyond our outward behavior. It includes the condition of our heart.

The question is, are you a changed Christian?

What was characterized as a sin yesterday is still a sin today. The biblical definition of sin is found in 1 John 3:4: “Sin is the transgression of the law” (King James Version). To sin is to transgress, or break, the law of God.

The Bible says a lot about sin. It tells us that all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and that sin leads to death (Romans 6:23).

So to sin can be to miss the goal or target—or even to rebel, reject or ignore God’s standards. It is to fall short of what God expects of us. We can think of sin as the opposite of righteousness. Righteousness is living within God’s just and right standards, while sin is failing to live by those standards.

I read the testimony of woman at her sister's funeral. One woman, she stated, “Not everyone who dies goes to heaven.” Wow — total silence. “My sister didn't love the Bible, didn't love Jesus, didn't go to church. I can't lie, I have no great confidence that she's in Heaven right now. But we're still alive, and this funeral is a warning to all of us to flee to Christ while there's time.” Then she sat down.

Her simple, clear, short, truthful speech convicted many; she spoke so plainly. She spoke a basic message: “It is appointed to man to die once, and after that, to face judgment.” [Hebrews 9:27]

The Bible reveals two destinations, Heaven or Hell. Revelations 14:9-11 describes Hell. It is one of the most challenging doctrines in the Bible, the idea that a righteous and holy God would consign people for eternity to conscious torment. This doctrine is the very reason that many in our world turn in disgust and unbelief from the God of the Bible. They cannot imagine a God who would choose infinite punishment for sins that were committed in space and time by finite people. Apart from Scripture, we can have no conception of Hell. Scripture teaches us about these invisible realities.

Hell as eternal conscious torment is an uncomfortable topic, and people tend to turn away from it as a doctrine but Hell is REAL!

The Greatest Love in History ever shown and expressed. Why will you not value this love?

1 Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!
Yonder on Calvary's mount out-poured–
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt.

Refrain:
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin!

2 Sin and despair, like the sea-waves cold,
Threaten the soul with infinite loss;
Grace that is greater– yes, grace untold–
Points to the Refuge, the mighty Cross. [Refrain]

3 Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
All who are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive? [Refrain]

Grace To Grace

Words and Music by Chris Davenport & Joel Houston

Verse 1
If love endured that ancient cross
How precious is my Saviour’s blood
The beauty of heaven wrapped in my shame
The image of love upon death’s frame

Pre-Chorus 1
If having my heart was worth the pain
What joy could You see beyond the grave
If love found my soul worth dying for

Chorus
How wonderful
How glorious
My Saviour’s scars
Victorious
My chains are gone
My debt is paid
From death to life
And grace to grace

Verse 2
If heaven now owns that vacant tomb
How great is the hope that lives inYou
The passion that tore
Through hell like a rose
The promise that rolled back
Death and its stone

Pre-Chorus 2
If freedom is worth the life You raised
Oh where is my sin where is my shame
If love paid it all to have my heart

Bridge
When I see that cross I see freedom
When I see that grave I’ll see Jesus
And from death to life
I will sing Your praise
In the wonder of Your grace

Tag
How my soul will sing Your praise
In the wonder of Your grace
How my soul will sing Your praise

The work of Salvation for all to be saved was finished once and for all. The love of Christ is overwhelming and faced the cruelty of the cross to save everyone who will come to him acknowledging the sins committed and ask for forgiveness.

Indeed loving people is difficult. Yet this is what the Bible commands. "For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: we should love one another" (1 John 3:11). We spend time on what we deem important. For many of us these choices are valid: time with family and friends, work, prayer, serving the poor, fighting for rights, protesting wrongs. But as the Scripture reminds us, "And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have love, I gain nothing" (1 Cor. 13:3).

When Jesus spoke to the disciples regarding the first and second greatest commands, he explained that "All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands" (Matt. 22:40).

When we demonstrate Christian love, it distinguishes believers from the rest of the world. Jesus goes on to say, "By this [love] all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another" (John 13:35). Notice Jesus did not say that people will know that you are my disciples if you promote my agenda, or wear Christian T-shirts or a WWJD bracelet, or have a fish decal on your car, but rather if you love one another. A watching world will be persuaded not when our values are promoted but when they are incarnated, when we become purveyors of love. It is as though Jesus has given the entire world the right to judge whether or not one is His follower simply on the basis of their love for fellow human beings. The vivacious virtue of love distinguishes the Christian.

From the very beginning, God's plan was to develop a people that reflected his character. And what is his character? Love. "God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; for we are as He is in this world" (1 John 4:16-17). Believers are God's advertisement to a watching society as to how individuals could best live in that society. In fact, Christian love will always be the best apologetic that the church has.

Christ has no hands, but our hands; no feet, but our feet. We are his ambassadors, representing him to the world. And when we love as he as loved us, it will make the difference. People will notice. Christian love is indispensable.

Discipline is not usually a word that we think fondly of. We think of it as a lack of freedom. Often it conjures up feelings of being needlessly overbearing. Although these things may come to mind, discipline is not a bad thing. We don’t like it because it forces us to change and do things differently from how we might want to accomplish things, but the results of a disciplined lifestyle can’t be argued.

Discipline is the self-denial of fleshly desires or pleasures to attain the desired results. In 1 Corinthians 9:27, the apostle Paul discloses his disciplined approach, stating, “But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I should be disqualified.” This verse reflects that discipline is vital to stay focused, avoid temptations, and fulfill one’s purpose.

Discipline is an essential aspect of discipleship and crucial in cultivating individuals’ holiness. The Bible provides various examples of discipline that serve as a guide for believers to follow.
