The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Oyo Province 18 CSR had a special end of year program for widows and widowers tagged "Celebrating Jesus' wives at Christmas" on 24th December 2023. All widows and widowers in attendance were given 2 congos of rice, a congo of beans and 6 yards of Ankara fabric each. Refreshments were also served during the programme.
Total expenses was N1,000,000. A soul lifting message of encouragement was delivered by Pastor (Mrs) Dayo Jide Akinrinde, the PICP, Oyo Province 2. In the course of the program, some of the widows shared testimonies of God's faithfulness, help and provision over the years. Beneficiaries were 106 widows and 9 souls were won to the Lord.
