Good afternoon hardworking youths of St Leo's parish, words alone can't convey my happiness and joy of this great corporal work of mercy we av taken part in, the lord we all serve will bless us all.
We are blessed with great parish priests in persons of Rev fr Daly & Rev fr Charles, who have supported us with logistics and their presence, we are taught humility, and the priest has continued to teach us with their actions to be humble in all things which was evident today
God bless us all.
Well its not over, we'll be having a breakfast with the parish priest on Tuesday May 1, 2018. 8Am, please we are all invited for this great feast.

Letter to Nigerian Youths.

Greetings in the name of the lord, the greatest commandment given to us by God is to love your neighbour as your self, love in this context has been mistaken for lost by majority of us, in this actual sense it has become conditional, i.e "rub my back & i rub yours" which has been the modus operandi of what we have in our society today, and also the obvious cause of high divorce rate among couples.
The mindset of an average Nigerian youth is focused more on what he/she tends to gain over what they can give. Jesus death on the cross should serve as a perfect example that we all can emulate (selfless service to humanity), yes this is achievable in this present era, you can do it, i can do it, with the right mindset we all can do it.
Love & treat everyone you come across with respect, we all need good mentors, spiritual directors and more importantly periodic evaluation of the way we live our lives.
Stay away from all forms of indecency ( lies, theft, drugs, prostitution, alcoholism, e.t.c) hard work pays, there is no short cut to success. Learn to carry your cross with the right attitude, we all should see challenges as a motivator not an enemy. Stay positive always, you are a treasure, an important assets for the creator, let him use you to create something beautiful.
"He who has ears let him hear", I celebrate you all.

The SMA youth fiesta comes up on 27th and 28th of this month .
Event for these days are as follows
Out/indoor games
Musical competition
Rap battles
Dance competition

The games as listed and the day is stated for 27th of January. Time :3pm:: volleyball,thug of war,football..

And on the 28th by 3pm
Dance competition
rap battle,
musical display
whot,
ludo,
chess,
scrabble....
And pls we need members to indicate their interest in games because all names will be compiled and splited into 2 groups, with the groups providing members for each game
