Noah provided good leadership as he built the ark, warned the people of the impending flood, constructed the facility that would save them from the coming flood and organised the boarding of men and animals into the ark.

He played his part, it was left for the people to heed the call and make use of the technology provided or ignore it to their perils.

For lovers of African stories. Unequal but Fair 1&2 are now available.
The first part reveals 3 undergraduate boys from the same university. On their way to their individual homes at the end of a semester, they met Debbie, a girl from another school. That marked the beginning of a process for Bayo, one of the boys. The need to get the best out of life because of his doubt about fairness in life brought Clement different experiences. Munik desires a change in his life principles and faith, but his parents would have none of that.

In the second part, each of these characters went their different ways in pursuit of life goals which include a satisfying employment and marriage. How would Bayo profit from his life principles? Can Clement ever find fairness in life? How about Munik, how would he resolve the religious intricacy he finds himself?

“A rattlesnake bit one of my sheep in the face about a week ago. Deadliest snake that lives around here. The sheep’s face swelled up and hurt her terribly.

But the old rattlesnake didn't know the kind of blood that flows through the sheep. Anti-venom is most often made from sheep's blood. The sheep swelled for about 2 days but the blood of the lamb destroyed the venom of the serpent.

I was worried but the sheep didn't care. She kept on eating, kept on drinking and kept on climbing because she knew she was alright.

Often the serpents of this life will reach out and bite us. They inject their poison into us but they cannot overcome the Blood of the Lamb of God that washes away the sin of the world and the sting of death. Don't worry about the serpent or his bite, just make sure that the Lamb's Blood is flowing through your veins.”

Leadership and followership are like the case of chicken and egg. One leads to the other in a vicious cycle.

When a society is generally rotten, the majority begins to see the few good ones as nonconformists and therefore bad. As a result, they would get their kinds as their leaders, since the best of their kind is just what the rest are; the best among the rotten.

Except the few good ones treat the situation as emergency, and do all they can to showcase their goodness, they would continue to be intimidated and repressed.

Living the life of LIGHT, TRUTH and spreading GOOD WORKS are the core of Covenant based Christianity. Focussing on prayers and offerings alone is the cause of the rot we see today.

A: Only a fool would believe in a god in this universal system.

B: Only a fool says there's no God

Who is really a fool?

Me: Both A and B are right in their time. A could be right in time but B would be right for all eternity.

You're free to follow either and face the consequences now or forever.

The Lord is constant in His goodness towards His people.

We are the ones that waver on our promises we made.

We are the ones in need of steadfastness in our worship and reverence towards Him.

We are the ones in need of goodness towards others.

We don't do these in order for God to be good.

We do these in appreciation for His goodness.

We do these as partakers of His blessings.

This is Shrek the sheep. He became famous several years ago when he was found after hiding out in caves for six years. Of course, during this time his fleece grew without anyone there to shorn (shave) it. When he was finally found and shaved, his fleece weighed an amazing sixty pounds. Most sheep have a fleece weighing just under ten pounds, with the exception usually reaching fifteen pounds, maximum. For six years, Shrek carried six times the regular weight of his fleece. Simply because he was away from his shepherd.

This reminds me of John 10 when Jesus compares Himself to a shepherd, and His followers are His sheep. Maybe it’s a stretch, but I think Shrek is much like a person who knows Jesus Christ but has wandered. If we avoid Christ’s constant refining of our character, we’re going to accumulate extra weight in this world—a weight we don’t have to bear.

When Shrek was found, a professional sheep shearer took care of Shrek’s fleece in twenty-eight minutes. Shrek’s sixty pound fleece was finally removed - enough wool to make suits for 20 men! All it took was coming home to his shepherd.

I believe Christ can lift the burdens we carry, if only we stop hiding. He can shave off our ‘fleece’—that is, our self-imposed burdens brought about by wandering from our Good Shepherd.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
