THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDES YOU INTO ALL TRUTH‼️

John 16:13
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."

When the Spirit of truth comes, He doesn’t just comfort. He leads. He doesn't just speak. He reveals even those things that seem hidden in our eyes. And He doesn't speak on His own. He echoes the voice of the Father.

This is the Holy Spirit, your divine GPS (Global positioning system) in a world full of noise. He guides you into all truth, exposes the lies, and prepares you for what’s ahead. You’re not walking blind. You’re being led.

This verse is part of Jesus’ farewell discourse to His disciples. He promises the coming of the Holy Spirit, the "Spirit of truth", who would guide them after His departure.

The Holy Spirit leads believers into deeper understanding of God's will, not just facts, but spiritual truth. The Spirit does not act independently from the Father and the Son, but communicates divine truth as it is revealed from God.
The Holy Spirit provides prophetic insight and prepares believers for future events in God’s plan.

Let this verse remind you that you are not alone in your walk with God. The Holy Spirit is your divine Counselor, Teacher, and Revealer of truth. He brings clarity in confusion, conviction in error, and hope for the future. When you feel lost or uncertain, lean into Him. He speaks what He hears from the Father and leads you in God's perfect path. Trust His voice. Obey His promptings. Rest in His guidance.

And remember that you're not walking blind, you're being led!

Have a blessed week❤️

An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months later, the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months after that, she was pregnant again, and nine months later, she gave birth to another dozen puppies. This pattern continued for some time.

Eighteen months later, the dog approached the elephant and asked, "Are you sure you're pregnant? We conceived on the same day. I've already given birth to a dozen puppies three times, and you're still expecting! What's going on?"

The elephant calmly replied, “There’s something important I need you to understand. What I carry isn’t a puppy; it’s an elephant. I only give birth once every two years, but when my baby touches the earth, the world will feel it. When it crosses a street, people will stop and stare in awe. What I carry is powerful and majestic."

She continued, “Don’t lose faith. When you see others receiving their rewards quickly, don’t feel jealous if yours hasn’t come yet. Don’t despair. Instead, remind yourself, 'My time is coming. And when it does, people will be amazed.'"

God’s timing is perfect. Everything comes when it is meant to—never too soon, never too late, but always at the right moment.

The Story Behind the Yoruba Adage “Sebiotimo Elewa Sapon”

Once upon a time, there was a woman who sold cooked beans in Abeokuta. Her bean joint at the time connected the roads that led to Ijaiye, Ago-Oba, Itoku, Lafenwa, Isale Igbein and Ake roads. The location of her restaurant was tagged “Sapon,” which was derived from the word “Saponloore,” meaning “help the bachelors.”

People, especially bachelors, derive pleasure from eating at a restaurant because they perceive it as a place to wine and dine in those days. In addition, important personalities like kings, government officials, civil servants, and even students, used to buy beans and stew (ewa pakure) from her.

Madam Janet Ewusi Odesola was born in 1925. Young Janet attended the Methodist elementary school in Ijoko, Abeokuta. She began her food selling business by selling dry fish before she felt the need to own a restaurant that sold cooked beans in 1951.

So, because of the calibre of people that patronized her, her cooked beans sold very fast every day, despite the large quantity of beans she cooked. Although, history has it that she cooked a big bag of beans daily, and there wouldn’t be any leftovers.

However, it came to a point where people started owing her. Some would buy her beans and pay, while some would buy on credit. Also, there were some people whose money would not be enough and who would promise to pay later, which they never did. She started drowning in debt as the credit accumulated. So, she began to think of a solution and then came up with a plan.

The plan was that anyone who bought from her and if their money did not suffice, she would advise with the phrase “sebiotimo” (that is, cut your coat according to your cloth). For instance, if they came to her to buy beans, she would ask for money, and if it was 10 kobo, she would sell 10 kobo worth of beans. If such a person then asked to put more (that is more than 10 kobo) that he would pay later, she would respond with “sebiotimo.”

S*X AND SUCCESS DON’T MIX – WHY UNDISCIPLINED MEN NEVER BECOME GREAT

Some men dream of success.
Some men work for success.
Some men destroy their success before it even starts.

And guess what? For many men, the biggest distraction is S*X.

A man who chases pleasure over purpose will always be left behind.
A man who controls his desires will always be ahead.

Success requires discipline.
Sexual indulgence destroys discipline.

If you can’t control your lust, you will never control your future.

BRUTAL THREAD:

1. POWERFUL MEN AVOID S*XUAL DISTRACTIONS, WEAK MEN CAN’T SAY NO

Every great man in history had one thing in common: They had discipline.

Alexander the Great conquered the world by 30—he didn’t waste time chasing women.
Elon Musk works 100 hours a week—he doesn’t waste time texting girls.

Muhammad Ali refused s*x before fights—he knew discipline was power.
But look at many men today:

Wasting hours daily on p**n and ma********on.
Spending their last money just to impress women.

Crying over a girl instead of building their future.
No great man was ever a slave to lust.

2. S*X DRAINS YOUR ENERGY, FOCUS, AND DRIVE

Every time you release, you are losing more than just a few seconds of pleasure.
You are losing:
Testosterone (your natural energy for success).

Motivation (your hunger to win).
Mental clarity (your ability to stay focused).
That’s why after s*x, many men feel weak and lazy.

Now imagine:
Doing this every day.
Wasting hours texting, chasing, and begging women.
Spending money just to get a few minutes of pleasure.
That’s why broke men chase s*x, and rich men chase success.

3. EVERY MINUTE SPENT CHASING WOMEN IS A MINUTE LOST BUILDING YOUR FUTURE

Look at your daily habits.
How much time do you spend scrolling through women’s pictures?
How much time do you waste flirting and simping in DMs?

How much time do you spend watching p**n and draining your strength?
Now imagine using that time to:
Learn a high-income skill.
Work on your business or care

8 MOST COMMON SINGING MISTAKES
✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
1. Breathing Wrong: Many singers make the mistake of breathing wrong. Often singers will breathe from their shoulders or chest and add tension to their voice. But the truth is that learning to breathe for singing is easy to do. It just takes the right technique and some practice.

2. Not Warming Up: Warming up your voice is an incredibly important part of singing well. If the voice isn’t warm, it’s way too easy to miss the high notes you’re going for.

3. Your Voice Breaks on High Notes: We’ve all been there. You’re going for the high notes when all of a sudden, your voice cracks like a 12-year-old boy.
But vocal breaks are really common with singers. Sometimes, even famous vocalists break when they sing.

But if you properly warm up your voice, your voice will break much less often.

4. Singing Too Low/High for Your Voice Type
Knowing your voice type is important so you can know what to expect from your voice. Knowing your voice type is also helpful in knowing how high or low you can sing.

Bass: Bass is the lowest male voice type with a comfortable range of E2-E4.
Baritone: Baritone is the second lowest male voice type with a comfortable range of A2-A4.
Tenor: Tenor is the second highest male voice type with a comfortable range of C3-C5.
Contralto: Contralto is the lowest female voice type with a comfortable range of E3-E5.
Alto: Alto is the second lowest female voice type with a comfortable range of F3-F5.
Mezzo Soprano: Mezzo Soprano is the second highest female voice type with a comfortable range of A3-A5.
Soprano: Soprano is the highest female voice type with a comfortable range of C4-C6.

5. Imitating Other Singers: The truth is that we all learn to sing at first by imitating others. The same is true when we learn to sing. Most of us started singing in the first place because we wanted to sound like our favorite singers. However, as time goes on, it’s important to work on developing your own unique voice....

Christmas Dilemma

For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence. Proverbs 3:32

READ Proverbs 3:5–18

LISTEN ONLINE

David and Angie had felt called to move overseas, and the fruitful ministry that followed seemed to confirm it. But there was one downside to their move. David’s elderly parents would now spend Christmases alone.

David and Angie tried to mitigate his parents’ Christmas Day loneliness by posting gifts early and calling on Christmas morning. But what his parents really wanted was them. With David’s income only permitting an occasional trip home, what else could they do? David needed wisdom.

Proverbs 3 is a crash course in wisdom-seeking, showing us how to receive it by taking our situations to God (vv. 5–6), describing its various qualities such as love and faithfulness (vv. 3–4, 7–12), and its benefits as peace and longevity (vv. 13–18). In a touching note, it adds that God gives such wisdom by taking us “into his confidence” (v. 32). He whispers His solutions to those who are close to Him.

Praying about his problem one night, David had an idea. Next Christmas Day, he and Angie put on their best clothes, decorated the table with tinsel, and brought in the roast dinner. David’s parents did the same. Then, placing a laptop on each table, they ate together via video link. It almost felt like they were in the same room. It’s become a family tradition ever since.

God took David into His confidence and gave him wisdom. He loves to whisper creative solutions to our problems.

Prejudice and God’s Love

Nazareth! Can anything good come from there? John 1:46

READ John 1:43–51

LISTEN ONLINE

“You’re not what I expected. I thought I’d hate you, but I don’t.” The young man’s words seemed harsh, but they were actually an effort to be kind. I was studying abroad in his country, a land that decades earlier had been at war with my own. We were participating in a group discussion in class together, and I noticed he seemed distant. When I asked if I’d offended him somehow, he responded, “Not at all . . . . And that’s the thing. My grandfather was killed in that war, and I hated your people and your country for it. But now I see how much we have in common, and that surprises me. I don’t see why we can’t be friends.”

Prejudice is as old as the human race. Two millennia ago, when Nathanael first heard about Jesus living in Nazareth, his bias was evident: “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” he asked (John 1:46). Nathanael lived in the region of Galilee, like Jesus. He probably thought God’s Messiah would come from another place; even other Galileans looked down on Nazareth because it seemed to be an unremarkable little village.

This much is clear. Nathanael’s response didn’t stop Jesus from loving him, and he was transformed as he became Jesus’ disciple. “You are the Son of God!” Nathanael later declared (v. 49). There is no bias that can stand against God’s transforming love.

REFLECT & PRAY

What biases have you faced or wrestled with? How does Jesus’ love help you deal with them?

SCRIPTURE INSIGHT

In John 1:51, Jesus told His first disciples, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.” At first glance, this might seem to be an odd word picture, but it points back to Jacob’s dream in Genesis 28:12: “He had a dream in which he saw a stair

God’s Heart for All

Come to me, all you who are weary. Matthew 11:28

Nine-year-old Dan Gill arrived with his best friend Archie at their classmate’s birthday party. When the mother of the birthday boy saw Archie, however, she refused him entry. “There aren’t enough chairs,” she insisted. Dan offered to sit on the floor to make room for his friend, who was Black, but the mother said no. Dejected, Dan left their presents with her and returned home with Archie, the sting of his friend’s rejection searing his heart.

Now, decades later, Dan is a schoolteacher who keeps one empty chair in his classroom. When students ask why, he explains it’s his reminder to “always have room in the classroom for anyone.”

A heart for all people can be seen in Jesus’ welcoming life: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). This invitation may seem to contradict the “first to the Jew” scope of Jesus’ ministry (Romans 1:16). But the gift of salvation is for all people who place their faith in Jesus. “This is true for everyone who believes,” Paul wrote, “no matter who we are” (3:22 nlt).

We rejoice then at Christ’s invitation to all: “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). For all seeking His rest, His open heart awaits.

What was your situation when you accepted God’s gift of salvation? Who do you know whose heart Jesus is calling?

Just a Whisper

How faint the whisper we hear of Him! Job 26:14

The whispering wall in New York City’s Grand Central Station is an acoustic oasis from the clamor of the area. This unique spot allows people to communicate quiet messages from a distance of thirty feet. When one person stands at the base of a granite archway and speaks softly into the wall, soundwaves travel up and over the curved stone to the listener on the other side.

Job heard the whisper of a message when his life was filled with noise and the tragedy of losing nearly everything (Job 1:13–19; 2:7). His friends blabbered their opinions, his own thoughts tumbled endlessly, and trouble had invaded every aspect of his existence. Still, the majesty of nature spoke softly to him about God’s divine power.

The splendor of the skies, the mystery of the earth suspended in space, and the stability of the horizon reminded Job that the world was in the palm of God’s hand (26:7–11). Even a churning sea and a rumbling atmosphere led him to say, “these are but the outer fringe of [God’s] works; how faint the whisper we hear of him!” (v. 14).

If the world’s wonders represent just a fragment of God’s capabilities, it’s clear that His power exceeds our ability to understand it. In times of brokenness, this gives us hope. God can do anything, including what He did for Job as He sustained him during suffering.

As a member of the leadership team for a local ministry, part of my job was to invite others to join us as group discussion leaders. My invitations described the time commitment required and outlined the ways leaders would need to engage with their small group participants, both in meetings and during regular phone calls. I was often reluctant to impose on other people, being aware of the sacrifice they’d be making to become a leader. And yet sometimes their reply would completely overwhelm me: “I’d be honored.” Instead of citing legitimate reasons to decline, they described their gratitude to God for all He’d done in their lives as their reason for being eager to give back.

When the time came to give resources toward building a temple for God, David had a similar response: “Who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?” (1 Chronicles 29:14). David’s generosity was driven by gratitude for God’s involvement in his life and that of the people of Israel. His response speaks of his humility and his acknowledgment of His goodness toward “foreigners and strangers” (v. 15).

Our giving to God’s work—whether in time, talent, or treasure—reflects our gratitude to the One who gave to us to begin with. All that we have comes from His hand (v. 14); in response, we can give gratefully to Him.
