November 2025 Thanksgiving Service

Ministering: Pastor E.A Adeboye
Topic: From Waiting to Winning
Text: Gen. 21:1-7

In Eccl 7:8, the Bible says better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
In the name of Jesus, your end shall be great!

When God sent you to the earth, He sent you for a purpose, and one way or another your purpose is connected to that of others.

Nothing is accidental with God.
He has planned and purposed everything for your good.
It is important to trust and wait on God.

Whatever it is you’re waiting for, God will bring it at the appropriate time.

If you try to do things your way, you will get the wrong thing. Be patient and trust God.

Zachariah and his wife had to wait for years for a child, because John had to be born 6 months before Jesus, to fulfill prophecy.

Why should we wait on God?
1. He is sovereign, he can’t be questioned.
2. Occasionally God delays to show you that He who laughs last, laughs best.

The story of Abraham shows, that after 25 years after the prophecy, God indeed established him as father of nations!

In the name above every other name, your own won’t be too hard for God to do.
Because you’re in church today, I decree “No more delay”

Ps 102:12 tells us that God has a set time.
In Daniel 2: 20-21 we learn that God has the ability to change times and seasons.

Again in John 2:1-12, we see how ‘my time has not yet come’, tuned to ‘Now’.

In the name above every other name, before you go to bed tonight, your time will come!

You need to get to the point where you trust God wholeheartedly without having any other plan B.

In the name above every other name, I decree your waiting is over!

Hold on to God in prayer, and ask for the blessings of the children of God.
God has already prepared the bread for his children, receive your inheritance in prayers.
Your time of favour is now!

To access all God has prepared for you, you need to serve him wholeheartedly.
That is why if you haven’t given your

September 2025 Holy Ghost Service

Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Topic: Children of Destiny
Text: Genesis 1: 26-28

God hates barrenness because it contradicts the very first blessing, which was also a decree.
‘Be fruitful’ wasn’t a piece of advice; it was a decree.
Whenever the devil orchestrates barrenness, God already has a blessing in place to counter it. Matthew 15: 13

▪︎ God loves children. Matthew 19:15
>> They own the kingdom of God.
>> Nobody can praise God like children. Matthew 21: 16
>> God loves noise, and children make a lot of it. Isaiah 6: 1-3, Psalm 47:1, Revelation 19: 5-6
When everyone unites in praising God, He will perform miracles that will frighten people.

☆ Every child is made for a purpose, and the purpose is to please God. Revelation 4: 11, Esther 4: 13-16.

You are made for a purpose.
We are all children of destiny.

☆ God is sovereign. He does as He pleases. Psalm 115:3
Can you query God? He has the absolute freedom to make you whatever He makes you. Romans 9: 20-21

During the 7 years that Nebuchadnezzar was eating grass like a beast, no one took his throne, showing God’s supremacy.

God is the Potter, and we are the clay.

☆ God has a special love for firstborns. Numbers 3: 13, Romans 8: 29

A lack of understanding limits our faith.

God can use anyone for His purpose.
Moses and David weren’t firstborns, but God used them.
God can use anyone, but the majority of children of destiny are firstborns.
Why?
God wants the womb to be clean and undisturbed by the time He wants to bring forth a very special person.
If they’re looking at you as barren, it may be that God is reserving your womb for a remarkable child.

These mighty men came from barren wombs:
+ Isaac
+ Samson
+ John the Baptist

☆ God has a timetable for everything (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8), but because He is sovereign, He has the right to change ‘not yet’ to now. John 2: 1-12.

Isaac is a classical example of a child of destiny; a child to carry generational blessings.
