Children from PCBC & DMBC joyfully participated in the Annual Childrenā€™s Day Celebration organised by the Children Ministry of the Champion Baptist Association at University of Ibadan Baptist Church.

The colourful event brought together children from various Baptist Churches within the Association alongside church leaders, teachers, parents and lovers of children. Among dignitaries present were Revā€™d Dr Ben AtĆ³yĆØbĆ­, Revā€™d Dr Segun Jaiyesinmi, Revā€™d Adeshina Adeyemi and Revā€™d Oluwafisayo Olatunji.

The celebration featured moments of joy, learning, fellowship and heartfelt prayers. Special prayers were also offered for the safe release of children currently in the custody of kidnappers, as participants united in faith and hope for their safe return.

Celebrating our mothers should be a daily lifestyle and not just a once-in-a-year event. Recently, we celebrated our mothers who are truly our role models ā€” women of strength, sacrifice, love and unwavering support.

We appreciate their prayers, care, wisdom and countless contributions to our families, church and society at large. Indeed, our mothers deserve to be honoured every single day.

Who noticed the calmness, the steeze and candour displayed by the Secretary yesterday while reading the announcements? Joshua Aremu truly showed confidence, composure and boldness in his delivery, and he handled the congregational flow excellently.

We are indeed blessed as a church to have our younger generation actively doing exploits in church activities. These experiences will surely help shape them for greater achievements in their daily lives and future endeavours.

As a Church, we joined the Ajadiā€™s family in a thanksgiving following the successful burial ceremony of Pa Michael Akinola held recently in Ogbomoso. We thank God for journey mercies and for the success recorded throughout the burial activities. May the Lord continue to uphold the family he left behind.

The PCBC Children had an excellent celebration of themselves during the Childrenā€™s Day service held in church today. We thank God for their lives, growth and dedication as they celebrated this yearā€™s Childrenā€™s Day themed: ā€œThe Holy Spirit Equips Christians for Lifestyle and Service.ā€

While celebrating with joy, our hearts also went out to children who are still being held captive by bandits across the nation.

Amidst the celebration, special prayers were offered for their safety, freedom and restoration back to their families. May God comfort every affected family and bring the children home safely.

Congratulations to all our wonderful children. You are blessed, valued and destined for greatness.
