If you can not handle rejection, you can not handle miracles. If rejection shuts down your faith, you can not enter miracles. If one person rejects you, you must understand that it does not mean everybody has rejected you.

As humans, we have a picture in our hearts of how things should be. We plan, we pour out time and energy, and we give our all because we want the outcome to be perfect. We are labourers by nature.

But the Bible brings us back to reality:
โ€œExcept the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it.โ€ โ€” Psalm 127:1

God is not calling you to work harder in isolation. He is inviting you to partner with Him.

Labour outside of obedience misses the mark. Labour that does not align with the Owner's blueprint is wasted, no matter how much effort you put in. Itโ€™s vain to give everything to a project without first giving it to God.

It s in vain if you cannot be rewarded for it eternally.

When the Lord rewards, His reward stands the test of fire. What He builds will not crumble. What He blesses will last.

God doesnโ€™t want you to burn out labouring alone. He wants you to be His co-laborer, working with Him, under His direction, for His glory.

When He builds, your work endures. When He guards, your rest is secure.

Kemi started her day with her morning devotion before heading to work. That morning, the Holy Spirit highlighted particular verses of the scripture to her, and she made sure to memorize them before leaving the house.

Work went smoothly, and she was grateful for how peaceful the day was.

When she got back home, she decided to spend a few minutes on WhatsApp. A message from a friend came in and it was provoking. Before she knew it, Kemi fired back angrily , messages full of harsh words, words that were not seasoned with salt. She and her friend kept going back and forth. In her mind, the friend โ€œdeserved to know her place.โ€

By evening, Kemi was still boiling with anger. When it was time for bed, she picked up her Bible as usual. Then it hit her โ€” the verse the Holy Spirit had pointed out that morning.
