CLOSE YOUR CHURCH DOORS, WORSHIP AT HOME!

Following the official announcement to lockdown on mass gathering across the state on the account of the prevailing CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, the Oyo Conference administration as a law abiding leadership have decided to advice that on till further notice, our churches should officially be closed for worship programs. Our advice is that people should meet and worship together as families. Remember as the Bible says, where two or three are gathered in his name, He will be there in their midst. Upon His promise, God will be with you as he promised; We therefore have the assurance that God will be present with you as you meet together in his name as families. Thanks for your cooperation.

Happy International Women's day to all our Adventist women. Thanks for all the effort you put into building our home. Don't let others decide what your power, beauty or feminism is. Keep leading charge in equal footing with men, seek balance to your family choices which may be interfering with the way you are perceived at work or limiting your ability to progress. Fathers please take parental leave as mothers do & enjoy caring for your children. Root for your girl child who wants to be a professional football player, not question her capabilities. Stand up for women & girls who don't get a say in the decisions & policies that affects their lives. And most importantly, Women, when you are succeeding, never forget to hold up spaces for other women to thrive. God Bless. 'sDay!

We continue our exploration into the the book of Daniel and Chapter 8 is next. Let's put in mind that the distinctive contribution of Daniel 8 lies in its focus on aspects of the heavenly sanctuary. Whearas Daniel 7 shows the heavenly tribunal and the Son of man receiving the kingdom, Daniel 8 shows the purification of the heavenly sanctuary. So as the parallels between these two chapters indicate, the purification of the heavenly sanctuary depicted in Daniel 8 corresponds to the judgment scene of Daniel 7.
