SHE COULD KILL HER OWN CHILDREN.

MOTHERS ARE VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE because of how PASSIONATE they are about their children.

A MOTHER THAT DOES HER DUTIES RIGHT WILL SET HER CHILDREN ON THE PART TOWARDS FULFILLING GOD'S PLAN FOR THEIR LIVES.

In Matthew 20:20-21, the mother of James and John came to PLEAD WITH JESUS that her children should be seated beside Him in heaven; it's no wonder these two were among the three closest to Jesus when He was on earth.

MOTHERS ARE PIVOTAL to the fulfillment of destinies of their children.

IT IS HOWEVER UNFORTUNATE THAT MANY MOTHERS ARE SO CARRIED AWAY BY THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD THAT THEY FORGET THEIR ROLE IN INTERCEDING FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

In 1 KING 3:16-28 , one mother was sleeping so deeply that she killed her own baby. The other was also sleeping so deeply that her child was exchanged right under her nose without her knowledge. Thank God she awoke to fight back for her child.

This tells us that if a mother is SLEEPING SPIRITUALLY, SHE COULD KILL HER OWN CHILDREN. If she is not PRAYERFUL and does not invest her TIME in raising them DILIGENTLY, their destinies could be truncated right under her watch. When a mother would rather sleep than pray at night for her children, she is indirectly KILLING THEIR DESTINIES.

MOTHERS, AWAKE and prayerfully fight for the actualization of your children's destinies.

MAY YOU NEVER KILL YOUR CHILDREN'S DESTINIES UNKNOWINGLY OR INDIRECTLY IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS.

INSPIRATION
It is easy to judge the Israelites for their idol worship and their poor decisions, but we often act the same way. God brought the Israelites out of slavery and bo***ge, yet they complained because they did not get the food they wanted. Has there been a time when you complained because you did not get what you wanted? Before you think you would not act like the Israelites, consider what you worship. We should have no other gods in our life. It does not have to be a god-like monument – anything that takes our attention from our savior can be an idol.

THE BATTLES WE FACE
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
INSPIRATION
The battles we face, as Christians, are not physical. Every form of opposition be it in man or in circumstances is spiritual. When we are faced by violent people, those people have subjected themselves to the influence of violent spirits. We cannot afford to not see everything as spiritual. But as much as we may have many spiritual enemies, we are not without defense. God has equipped us and He covers us to ensure that the enemy will never overthrow us, no matter what.

INSPIRATION
A cubit is the length from your elbow to the tip of your finger. No one can add a cubit, or an inch or centimeter, to his or her height by worrying about it. Anxiety never accomplishes anything, in fact, but to cause us stress, waste time, and diminish our trust in God.

Aug. 6: OVERCOMING YOUTHFUL CHALLENGES IN A TIME LIKE THIS
Text: Rom. 1: 28; Daniel 1: 3-4
The topic before us is one of the neglected concepts among the youth today; such a discourse is no longer celebrated because what the past heroes in faith cherished is what is disdained in our generation, while we celebrate what they abhorred. We are living in a generation that glories in iniquity and prides in various forms of immorality. Changes in modern Christian values have affected many Christian youths to the extent of viewing teaching on holiness, chastity and spiritual fervency that characterised biblical youths like Daniel, Samuel, Joseph, Timothy etc, as old school, old fashion, obsolete and out-dated. Instead, many youths have changed their names to Demas who departed to Thessalonica in pursuit of life pleasure, and submission to hedonism (2Tim. 4:10). Thus, if there is any time to discuss youths with holy, pure, spotless, immaculate and undefiled hearts who live their lives without blemish, now is the right time. This is because such teaching is becoming uncelebrated and the devil keeps on dragging many youths into the abyss of unrighteousness. There are many challenges facing Christian youths today, some of which are caused by the exuberance and adventure to feel belonged among the worldly youths. We pray that God will open our eyes to see ourselves from His word and grant strength to overcome worldly challenges in Jesus name. Amen.
