I OBA ADEWALE AJAYI IDUNNUIFA OJEYEMI, I am deeply grateful to Olodumare for the opportunity to have been chosen as OLUAYE AARE OBA OGBONI ABORIGINE AGBAYE. This role has been a meaningful journey of learning, responsibility, and personal growth. Being entrusted with this position not only strengthened my confidence but also allowed me to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and a stronger sense of commitment.
Over the past two years, the experience has challenged me to perform my duties with dedication, integrity, and consistency. I sincerely appreciate the support, guidance, and encouragement I received from my familiesboth home and abroad, which played a vital role in helping me carry out my responsibilities effectively.

The ITAGBE or SHÀKI is a rectangular
shaped piece of woven fabric measuring
about four feet by one and half feet.
At the end of the shorter sides of the
rectangle,there are the loose cotton or silk
threads tied up unto seven droops.
The outer surface of the spread is
usually covered with linear streaks of
closely packed loose cotton or silk threads
to connote the Shaki (inner lining of man's
stomach),in keeping with the appellation.
Depending on choice,there may be artistic
impressions on the outer surface.Such
impressions usually have some traditional
history behind them.Such history however,
may be peculiar to any particular Ilédi
/ Ogbóni Temple.
