BAPTISM.

This Sunday evening, the church baptismal font was filled with quiet reverence and joyful anticipation as we gathered for the sacred rite of baptism.
In the soft glow of the early light, voices were lifted in hymns of hope, and hearts were renewed in faith.
Witnessing new members and infants being welcomed into the fold on such a holy day was a powerful reminder of resurrection, renewal, and grace. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and led by the Vicar, The Ven. Ayodele Sofowora, JP, the service was both solemn and uplifting.

Be resolute, unwavering, and always abounding in the work of the Lord. (1 Cor 15:58). The term 'steadfast' originates from the Hebrew word CHESED, which denotes unwavering faith in God and the completed work of Christ for human salvation. It also implies a firm adherence to one's allegiance. Every child of God must remain steadfast in their faith, challenges, work, and discipline. The exemplary figure of Daniel in Daniel 1:8 serves as a model. One must be dependable, reliable, and consistent. Steadfastness is a byproduct of a regenerated life. As you remain steadfast today, God shall reward you with victory and the crown of life in Jesus' name. It shall be well with you IJN. Happy weekend IJN. Shalom!
