A gentle reminder that God is with you always, so you have no reason to live in fear.

No matter what, be at peace, stand strong, and remain courageous knowing that your King is still in control.

He sees you, He guides you, and He will never leave you without help.

Topic: The Offices of Christ - Jesus the King

Who is a King?
A king is a sovereign ruler with supreme authority over a territory. His word is law. Every king has a domain called kingdom.

In scripture, kingship speaks of authority, dominion, government, ownership, rule, protection. A true king shapes culture, determines direction and commands allegiance.

How is Jesus different from other kings?
1. His kingdom is spiritual and eternal: Earthly kingdoms rise and fall, but Christ’s kingdom is spiritual, eternal and unshakeable. Psalm 144:13; Daniel 7:14
2. He rules with righteousness and justice: Many kings rule with oppression, fear and manipulation, but Jesus rules with holiness, mercy, righteousness and justice.
3. Jesus truly serves and serves till death: Other kings want to be served, but Jesus serves the people. He still serves as intercessor. Mark 10:45; John 15:13
4. He is sinless: Every king has a fault and some are monsters, but Jesus was/is sinless. 1 Peter 2:22.

Preacher: Pastor Bamidele Aloko
Topic: The Offices of Christ: The Priest
Scripture: Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 Timothy 2:5-6

Jesus is not just any priest; He is our great high priest.

Who is a priest?
He is someone appointed by God to stand before Him on behalf of the people. He serves as the mediator between God and man. What better high priest do we need than Christ Jesus. Hebrews 5:1; Hebrews 3:1.
Jesus is the High Priest of our faith.

Why do we need a priest?
God cannot behold iniquity, so He had to create an office of the priest to mediate between Him and man. The priest offers sacrifices for his sin and that of the people. A sinful man could not approach God, so a priest was needed to stand on his behalf.

How is Jesus different from other priests?
1. Earthly priests were sinners but Jesus was sinless. He went once to offer the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. Hebrews 7:26-27
2. Other priests offered animals but Jesus offered Himself. He not only became the High Priest but the sacrifice. Hebrews 9:12.
3. Other priests offered repeated sacrifices; Jesus offered only one sacrifice. Hebrews 10:11-12.
4. Other priests died; Jesus lives forever. Hebrews 7:23-24
5. Other priests ministered in earthly tabernacles; Jesus ministers in the heavenly tabernacle. Hebrews 9:11
6. Other priests provided limited access; Jesus gives direct access. Matthew 27:51; Hebrews 4:16
7. Other priests were from the Order of Aaron; Jesus is from the Order of Melchizedek. They were appointed from lineage but Jesus was appointed from heaven. Therefore, He has superior blessings. Hebrews 7:17

Celebrating our mothers goes beyond just one day on the calendar. ❤️

Every day is another opportunity to make your mother feel loved, valued, appreciated, and seen. The little things matter -your calls, prayers, kindness, time, support, and words of gratitude can mean so much to her.

Celebrate her while you can, honor her consistently, and let her know how much she truly means to you.

This will be a great week for you. God Himself will send you help.

Preacher: Pastor Sarah Omakwu
Topic: Intentional Mothering

Love is not just about being constantly present, but about staying consistently connected to your children and family. A good mother shows love, patience, forgiveness, and leads by example, knowing that children often learn more from what they see than from what they are told. No mother is perfect — motherhood is a journey of learning and growing.

A godly mother patterns her life after Jesus Christ. She is spiritually grounded, loving, gracious, and intentional about teaching values, character, respect, and faith. Her home becomes a place where love, discipline, culture, and godly principles are nurtured. A good mother is not perfect — she is intentional.

How to Become a Good Mother:
1. Nurture your inner life and stay grounded in God.
2. Listen when your children speak.
3. Model the behavior and values you want to see in them.

Working Mothers:
Many women today balance motherhood with work. Being a good mother is not about quantity of time, but quality of connection. Be present when you are with your children — put distractions aside, ask meaningful questions, listen to them, play with them, and create simple routines that strengthen your bond.

Do not chase perfection; pursue balance. Stay emotionally connected, build a strong support system, and extend grace to yourself. Your children need to feel loved, guided, and supported consistently.

Above all, raise your children in faith and help them grow spiritually. The true measure of motherhood is faithfulness, sacrifice, love, and intentionality.

To every mother — whether stay-at-home or working — your sacrifices matter, your love is shaping lives, and your work is making a lasting difference.
