This service challenged us to stop treating financial growth as a miracle we wait for and start building the capacity to steward what God puts in our hands.
We were reminded to live a structured life, resist the pressure to borrow for consumption, embrace delayed gratification, and give our gifts the attention they deserve.
Growth also requires expanding our intellectual, character and financial capacity, building systems that can carry increase, and preparing for seasons of crisis.
And perhaps most importantly, wealth is not only what you earn—it is also the quality of relationships you build.
Relationships are capital; learn to serve them well.
Faith does not excuse poor stewardship. It gives us the wisdom to build.
