Hello Everyone,

My name is John and I welcome us all to this session on Business and Innovation.

apologies that this is coming very late

I am going to say something very subjective today: Experience does not really mean you are the best person for the job

I want us to reflect on this statement

We often assume that the person with the most years of experience has the best answer.
But experience can sometimes mean repeating the same thinking over and over.

Traditional approaches tend to default to safe, familiar solutions because they prioritize convention, risk avoidance, and what has always been done.

But practical thinkers approach problems differently.
They focus on what actually needs to be done, break problems into smaller parts and question assumptions instead of accepting them.

Creativity is not about knowing more.
It is about thinking differently about what you already know.

Theory gives structure but ex*****on reveals what actually works.

And that difference changes outcomes.

Do not accept the default solution just because it is common.

Innovation is not about doing things the established way.
It is about finding a way that works better in practice.

Peace is my name and I’ll be your host this night.

In the Holy Bible, we see God testing people's understanding through interactions and events. "Understanding" is a key concept in the sacred texts.

"Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding," says Proverbs 4:7. Your creativity and spiritual gifts will be expressed to the extent that you can understand.

Before you can properly evaluate the utility of something and devise a new approach, you must first have a thorough understanding of it.
Because you lack understanding, you are unable to make sense of the visions of heaven in your spirit. You cannot create anything of value. There are gaps in your knowledge, and things don't add up.

This makes it difficult for you to complete any tasks. You have hope and believe that these things can be accomplished.

However, the works of faith that are required for your progress to be visible are missing. Without comprehension, you cannot work effectively. Consider Proverbs 24:5, "A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increases strength."

A wise person once said "If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself." Testing your understanding of the mighty works you want to do for God requires developing enough knowledge and perspective to explain it in a variety of ways depending on your audience. There's a web series that features experts explaining a high-level subject to five different audiences: a child, a teenager, an undergraduate, a graduate student, and, finally, a colleague. That is how you can put your knowledge to the test.

Remember how our Lord Jesus could explain his mission to various audiences, using the appropriate words each time. So, how about you?

*So, last two week's Friday meeting, our visit was to Emerald College and the topic taught was WISDOM*
*Wisdom is the ability to know God’s will and apply it correctly in our daily life.*
*Wisdom is not just intelligence or education. *Wisdom is profitable to direct*

*We couldn't visit any of the secondary schools last week Friday due to the Eid - Fitri celebration ( Salah).*

*But then ,we did something more meaningful with our time.*

*Time is precious and also,time is money 🤑 💰,if you know,you know 😉*

*We visited LASU main campus on Saturday*
* *We had fellowship and also, swalloship,as usual*😉

* *I'll be posting some of the pictures from our Fellowship and Swalloship visit to LASU main campus*
*No matter what the economy of the country is,it doesn't affect us*🔥
*We can't go visiting empty handed, naaaa, it's not what we're known for*
*We go filled up to the brim*😎

Good Evening Everyone. It's time for our night confessions

Isaiah 60:1-3 (KJV) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Psalm 90:17 (ESV):

"Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us".

Psalms 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

*CONFESSION*

In this season, the land does not keep back any of it's goodness from me. The favour of the Lord is upon me, my family and every work of my hand. I receive speed and I refuse to be stagnated. The glory of the God is risen upon on me. I arise and I begin to shine.

*Either as a (an intending) husband/wife, be diligent, dedicated, available and sensitive to Kingdom business. Support each other to nurture, manage and execute judiciously what God has called you into for this kingdom emergence.*

*All Glory to God for another night!!*
We move...

We will be making *OHA SOUP* that went to Harvard tonight...😂😁😁

*Ingredients*

*Protein & Stock Base*
1 kg assorted meat (beef, goat meat, or cow meat)
1 cup stockfish (soaked)
1 cup dried fish (optional but recommended)
1–2 cups cow skin (ponmo), washed

*Soup Thickener*
2 tablespoons ofor (Oha thickener)
(Alternative: cocoyam paste if ofor is unavailable)

*Vegetables*
2–3 handfuls fresh Oha leaves (hand-torn, not sliced)

*Palm Oil Base*
1 cup red palm oil

*Seasoning*
2–3 tablespoons ground crayfish
1 medium onion (optional, blended or chopped)
3–4 seasoning cubes
Salt (to taste)
1 teaspoon ground pepper or fresh blended pepper.

*Preparation Steps*

*1. Prepare the Meat & Stock*
Wash meat, stockfish, ponmo thoroughly.
Season with salt, onions, and seasoning cubes.
Cook until tender.
Add dried fish and allow everything to blend into a rich stock.

*2. Prepare the Oha Leaves*
Wash the leaves gently.
Important: Tear with your hands (do NOT slice with knife to avoid bitterness).
Set aside.

*3. Add Palm Oil & Crayfish*
Pour palm oil into the cooked meat stock.
Add ground crayfish and pepper.
Allow it to boil for about 5–7 minutes.

*4. Thicken the Soup*
Mix ofor in a small bowl with a little water (to avoid lumps).
Add gradually into the soup while stirring.
Allow it to cook until it thickens properly.
👉 If using cocoyam:
Boil cocoyam separately.
Pound into paste and add in small portions until desired thickness.

*5. Add Oha Leaves*
Add the Oha leaves last.
Stir gently and cook for 2–3 minutes only.
Do NOT overcook... Oha loses its flavor and nutrients quickly.

*6. Final Taste* Adjustment
Taste and adjust salt and seasoning.
Allow to simmer briefly and turn off heat.

You can serve with:

* Semo
* Fufu
* Eba
* Poundo yam...etc

Welcome to another episode of PHYSICAL FITNESS TIPS. 💪

Today's topic is: Strength Training for Everyone
*What is Strength Training?*

Strength training is any exercise that makes your muscles work against resistance.

This resistance can come from:
* Your own body weight
* Resistance bands
* Dumbbells or weights
* Everyday objects (including your pot of Oha soup 😄)

*Why Strength Training is Important*

1. *Builds Muscle Strength:*
Stronger muscles make daily tasks easier: Carrying bags, climbing stairs, standing for long periods...

2. *Improves Bone Health*
Strength training helps make bones stronger and denser, reducing the risk of fractures, especially as we age.

3. *Boosts Metabolism*
Muscle burns more energy than fat, even at rest. This means that your body burns more calories and helps in weight control

4. *Improves Posture and Reduces Pain*
Strong muscles support the spine.
This helps to reduce back pain, improve body posture and prevent injuries

*Simple strength exercises for anyone.*

*Exercise 1 – Bodyweight Squats*

* Targets: Legs, hips

*Instructions:*

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart
Lower your body as if sitting on a chair
Keep chest up and knees behind toes

*Exercise 2 – Wall or Modified Push-Ups* (My favourite ☺️☺️)

* Targets: Chest, arms, core
Options:
Beginners: push against a wall
Intermediate: knee push-ups

*Exercise 3 – Lunges*

* Targets: Legs and balance
Instructions:
Step forward
Bend both knees
Return and switch legs

*Exercise 4 – Plank Hold*

* Targets: Core
Instructions:
Keep body straight
Support on elbows and toes (or knees for beginners)
Hold position

* *CHALLENGE*

This week, try to do all these strength exercises at least 2 days of the week.

* Squats (1 minute)
* Push-ups (1 minute)
* Lunges (1 minute)
* Plank (1 minute)

Repeat all 4 exercises as many times as possible ACCORDING TO YOUR ABILITY.

Even 10–15 minutes is enough. that's about 3 rounds. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

Strength is not about lifting the heaviest weight. It’s about making your body stronger for everyday life.

Marriage Tips

Managing Crisis in your marriage/relationship should not be an open ground to foster abuse or blackmail(physical,emotional,financial,spiritual etc.)

When issues arises, it should be a time to reflect on the cause, possible solutions and work out future prevention of such issues.

Taking responsibility and being accountable is also very effective to sorting you/ your spouse/ partner in those times.

Be intentional in making it work.
