I Must End Well

I must end well—not merely because I am a member of a church, not because I carry a title, not because I preach, sing, serve, or stand among Your people, but because Your grace has found me and granted me salvation.

Lord, I know that being around holy things does not automatically make a man holy. Being a church member does not guarantee that I will finish well. I need Your grace every day. I need Your mercy to keep me, Your Spirit to guide me, Your Word to correct me, and Your strength to help me remain faithful.

Father, I must not disappoint You.

I must not fail You.

I must not begin well and end badly. I must not become another person who started with fire but finished with ashes. I must not lose the faith, the vision, the purity, the hunger, or the love for You that You have placed within me.

Help me, O God, to end well.

When temptation comes, strengthen me.

When success comes, humble me.

When failure comes, restore me.

When people praise me, remind me that everything I have comes from You.

When people reject me, keep my heart from bitterness.

When I become tired, renew my strength.

When I am confused, give me direction.

When I am weak, be my strength.

When I am tempted to compromise, remind me of eternity.

When I am tempted to give up, remind me of the calling You placed upon my life.

Lord, I do not want to merely work for You; I want to walk with You.

I do not want to merely speak about You; I want to know You.

I do not want to merely serve in Your house; I want my life to become a dwelling place for Your presence.

I do not want men to call me successful while heaven calls me unfaithful.

I do not want to gain the world and lose my soul.

I do not want applause from men at the expense of approval from You.

At the end of my journey, let my life carry one testimony:

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Father, help me to live in such a way that when my earthly journey is complete, I will not stand before You empty-handed. Let my obedience speak. Let my faithfulness speak. Let the souls I touched speak. Let the lives I helped speak. Let the sacrifices I made for Your kingdom speak.

But above everything, let Your grace speak for me.

For I know that I cannot save myself.

I cannot keep myself by my own strength.

I cannot finish this race by human ability alone.

I need Your grace from beginning to the end.

The grace that saved me must also sustain me.

The grace that called me must also keep me.

The grace that lifted me must also preserve me.

The grace that brought me this far must carry me all the way home.

Lord Jesus, when my final day comes, let me hear Your voice saying:

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Not “well done, famous servant.”

Not “well done, wealthy servant.”

Not “well done, powerful servant.”

But “well done, faithful servant.”

That is the reward I desire.

So, Lord, keep me faithful.

Keep my heart pure.

Keep my eyes on You.

Keep my hands clean.

Keep my feet on the narrow path.

Keep my spirit humble.

Keep my love burning.

Keep me from becoming distracted by the things that cannot follow me into eternity.

And if You bless me, let the blessing never become a replacement for the Blesser.

If You increase me, let the increase never make me forget the One who increased me.

If You give me influence, let me use it for Your glory.

If You give me wealth, let me use it for Your kingdom.

If You give me a platform, let Jesus remain the center.

If You give me people, let me serve them faithfully.

If You give me a ministry, let me never forget that it belongs to You.

I must end well.

I must finish the race.

I must keep the faith.

I must complete my assignment.

I must remain faithful until the end.

And when everything is finished, may heaven receive my life as a testimony of Your grace.

Lord, help me—not merely to start well, but to end well.

What Can Make You Keep Going: Self-Awareness, Self-Confidence, and Self-Development

Life will not always give you reasons to keep going. There will be moments when your plans fail, people disappoint you, opportunities disappear, and the results you expected refuse to come. Sometimes, the greatest battle is not with the world around you but with the voice inside you asking, “Can I still continue?”

In such moments, three things can give you the strength to keep moving: self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-development.

1. Self-Awareness: Know Who You Are

Self-awareness is the ability to understand yourself—your strengths, weaknesses, values, emotions, limitations, abilities, and purpose.

When you know yourself, you become less dependent on people's opinions to determine your worth.

Not everyone will understand you. Not everyone will support your vision. Some people will misunderstand your intentions, while others may criticize what they do not understand. But when you have developed a healthy understanding of yourself, their opinions will not easily destroy your confidence.

Self-awareness helps you ask important questions:

Who am I? What am I capable of? What are my weaknesses? What do I need to improve? What do I truly value? Where am I going?

You cannot build a meaningful future while constantly running away from the truth about yourself.

Know your strengths, but do not ignore your weaknesses. Knowing your weaknesses does not make you inferior; it gives you information about where growth is needed.

2. Self-Confidence: Believe You Can Move Forward

Self-confidence is not believing that you will never fail. It is believing that even when you fail, you can learn, recover, and try again.

There will be times when nobody applauds you. There will be seasons when your efforts appear invisible. There may even be people who tell you that your dream is impossible.

You must learn not to surrender your future to the opinions of people.

Confidence says:

“I may not know everything, but I can learn.”

“I may have failed, but failure is not the end of my story.”

“I may be moving slowly, but I am still moving.”

Do not confuse confidence with pride. Pride says, “I need nobody.” Confidence says, “I know I can grow, and I am willing to learn from others.”

True confidence is humble enough to receive correction and strong enough not to be destroyed by criticism.

3. Self-Development: Keep Becoming Better

Self-awareness tells you where you are. Self-confidence gives you courage to move. Self-development equips you for where you are going.

You cannot remain the same person and expect a completely different result.

If you want a better future, you must be willing to become a better version of yourself.

Read. Learn. Ask questions. Develop your skills. Improve your communication. Strengthen your discipline. Learn from your mistakes. Study people who have succeeded in areas you desire to grow in. Develop your spiritual, intellectual, emotional, professional, and relational capacity.

Every new skill you acquire increases your capacity.

Every lesson you learn reduces the possibility of repeating certain mistakes.

Every season of disciplined growth prepares you for opportunities that your present ability may not yet be able to handle.

Sometimes the reason you are frustrated is not because your destiny is impossible; it may simply be because your current capacity is not yet sufficient for what you are trying to achieve.

Grow.

Keep Going Even When Progress Is Slow

One of the greatest mistakes people make is measuring progress only by visible results.

Growth is not always visible.

Sometimes progress is becoming more disciplined. Sometimes it is learning to control your emotions. Sometimes it is finally understanding something you previously struggled with. Sometimes it is walking away from what is destroying you. Sometimes it is gaining the courage to start again.

Do not despise small progress.

A person who improves by one percent consistently will eventually become very different from the person who refused to grow.

Keep planting.

Keep learning.

Keep building.

Keep praying.

Keep developing.

Keep moving.

Do Not Build Your Life Around Comparison

Comparison can destroy the motivation required for self-development.

You may look at someone else's success and conclude that you are behind. But you do not know the full story behind their journey.

Different people have different starting points, responsibilities, opportunities, struggles, and seasons.

Your assignment is not to become another person.

Your responsibility is to become the best version of you that you can become.

Learn from others without becoming intimidated by them.

Celebrate another person's progress without despising your own journey.

Their success is not proof of your failure.

Your Past Is a Teacher, Not Your Permanent Address

You may have made mistakes. You may have wasted opportunities. You may have trusted the wrong people. You may have made decisions you now regret.

Learn from them, but do not build your identity around them.

The past should educate you, not imprison you.

Ask yourself:

What did this experience teach me?

What mistake must I never repeat?

What character must I develop because of this experience?

How can I use what I have learned to build a better future?

When you turn experience into wisdom, even painful seasons can contribute to your development.

Keep Going Because You Are Still Becoming

You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You only need enough understanding to take the next responsible step.

Life is a process.

You will discover yourself along the way. You will develop confidence through experience. You will become stronger through challenges. You will gain wisdom through mistakes and correction.

Do not wait until you feel completely ready.

Start where you are.

Use what you have.

Learn what you do not know.

Improve what needs improvement.

And keep moving.

Final Thought

When life becomes difficult, remember these three words:

Know yourself. Believe in your capacity. Develop yourself continually.

Self-awareness helps you understand who you are.

Self-confidence gives you the courage to believe that you can move forward.

Self-development gives you the capacity to become better and handle greater responsibilities.

You may not control everything that happens around you, but you can take responsibility for what happens within you.

So, when the journey becomes difficult, do not give up on yourself.

Know yourself. Build yourself. Develop yourself. Believe in yourself. Then keep going.

Because sometimes, the breakthrough you are waiting for is on the other side of the person you are still becoming.

YOUR GREATEST NEED IS JESUS CHRIST

Regardless of who you are—whether rich or poor, educated or uneducated, influential or unknown, celebrated or forgotten—if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you are not doing yourself any favour.

You may have wealth, possessions, fame, influence, a successful career, a beautiful family, or everything this world considers valuable. But without Christ, you are still missing the most important thing your soul needs.

What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? — Mark 8:36

The wealthiest person without Christ is spiritually poor, because earthly riches cannot purchase eternal life.

And the poorest person who lives without Christ is also in great need, because poverty is not the greatest problem of a man's life—being separated from God is.

Your greatest achievement is not how much you acquire in this world; it is knowing Christ and being prepared to meet Him in eternity.

Jesus is not merely an option. He is the way to the Father.

He said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6

My friend, come to Jesus today.

Do not wait until you have everything figured out.
Do not wait until tomorrow.
Do not allow wealth, poverty, pleasure, success, disappointment, or the distractions of this world to keep you away from the One who gave His life for you.

Jesus died for your sins. Jesus rose again. Jesus is calling you today.

Turn away from sin. Repent. Believe in Him. Surrender your life to Christ.

The world may give you temporary satisfaction, but only Jesus can give you eternal life.

For the record, many of you know about the ongoing Mountain Movers Convention, but you may not be aware of some of the amazing things happening during the convention period.

Here are some of the benefits and services members and participants enjoy. No caps—just read.

- Free surgeries: Starting from August 3, free cataract and other eye surgeries, including some glaucoma cases; free Caesarean sections for complicated deliveries; at least 10 planned gynaecological surgeries; and orthopedic procedures for trauma cases.

- Free medical clinic: Mainly available from Wednesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering consultations, basic investigations and tests, and medications at no cost. The clinic is expected to attend to about 10,000 patients this year.

- Free dialysis: At least 25 dialysis sessions are being provided for people living with chronic kidney disease who cannot afford the cost of treatment.

- Free dental care: Scaling, polishing, and other dental procedures are provided at no cost.

- Wellness and preventive services: Routine health checks, vital-sign monitoring, immunizations, and other preventive health services are available.

- RAPAC free screenings and support: At different stands across the camp, people can access free screening for HIV, hepatitis B and C, malaria, typhoid, blood sugar, prostate conditions for men, and cervical and breast health for women. There is also health education, counselling, and free medication where necessary. Everything is free.

- Multi-specialty hospital services: A full range of medical services is available on-site, including emergency care, ICU, radiology, maternity support, and new robotic surgery capabilities, with additional medical personnel mobilized for the convention.

- Physical fitness and recreation: Daily sporting and recreational activities are available for participants across different age groups.

- Skills and empowerment: Through RISE (Redeemed Initiative for Skills and Empowerment), young people and young adults receive practical skills training, networking opportunities, and empowerment sessions. Free barbing services are also available around August 5–8.

- Special seminars: Multiple practical teaching sessions are organized on topics with real-life applications, including management, faith in action, and other relevant areas of life and ministry.

- Community and support networks: Dedicated forums are available for women through the Good Women Forum, elders, youths and children, pastors' children through the Pastors' Seed Family, and church workers. These provide opportunities for mentoring, mutual support, fellowship, and global networking.

- Leadership and career pathways: Ordinations are conducted for deacons, deaconesses, assistant pastors, and full pastors.

- Logistics and welfare: Organized feeding, accommodation support, and a structured environment designed to accommodate and care for millions of attendees.
