Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe 👑
Today marks the beautiful conclusion of the liturgical year with the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. It’s a day we pause to remember that in a world often defined by transient power struggles and fleeting leaders, we look to the one true and eternal sovereign.
The Feast of Christ the King reminds us of a kingdom not built on force, wealth, or human might, but founded entirely on love, mercy, and truth. His reign isn’t about political dominance or earthly borders; it’s about a spiritual dominion that seeks to transform the human heart.
Every kingdom on earth, every empire that ever rose to power, eventually fades. History shows us that only His reign endures forever, stretching beyond time and into eternity. This truth offers us profound comfort and hope.
Today, this feast extends a radical invitation: to consciously let Jesus rule our hearts, our choices, and our daily lives. To exchange anxiety for His peace, injustice for His justice, and selfishness for His love. When we crown Him King of our lives, we embrace a citizenship in a kingdom that will never fail.
May we live as subjects of such a magnificent King, serving others with the same love and mercy with which He rules us. Long live Christ the King!
