Today, as we observe the new moon, we are reminded of God's faithfulness and the cycles He has established in creation. The new moon signifies new beginnings, a fresh start ordained by God Himself. In Psalm 104:19, it is written, "He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting." This teaches us to trust God's timing in all things.

On this special day, October 1st, when Nigeria celebrates its Independence, we give thanks to God for His protection, guidance, and grace over our nation. Just as the new moon marks the start of a new cycle, may this season be a time of renewed hope, unity, and divine progress for Nigeria.

Let us pray that God continues to bless our land, heal our divisions, and lead us into a future filled with peace and prosperity. May the light of His presence guide our leaders and citizens alike.

Scriptural Reflection:

Isaiah 60:1 – "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you."
Psalm 81:3 – "Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day."
As we celebrate both the new moon and our nation's freedom, let us commit to walking in God's truth and love, trusting His divine plan for our lives and country.

God bless Nigeria. God bless the Celestial Church of Christ.
