Throwback to our Intimacy Retreat Series — the season we gather virtually every year to pray, worship, and study the Word together.
People ask why we pray so much. It's not because we're in need or jobless. It's because we love God.
Over the years, we learned something powerful: stretch prayers expand our minds and strengthen our faith.
Logic is important — but it is not all there is.
Look at Abraham's faith. Logic failed him because of time. But with God, time and science become advantages, not obstacles.

If you've ever felt stuck in this cycle, you are not alone, and you are not too far gone.

The enemy wants isolation to be the final stop. He wants you to believe shame is your identity. But Jesus already broke that cycle at the cross.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." — 2 Corinthians 5:17

You don't have to stay in the loop. Healing doesn't mean the trigger never comes again — it means you have a way out that didn't exist before.

Christ paid the price so the cycle wouldn't have the final word over your life. 💜

If this is you today, drop a 🙏 below or send us a message. You don't have to walk through this alone.

Everyone has been hurt. Even leaders and pastors carry wounds from the church.

If that's you, I want to say I'm sorry for what happened to you. But I also want to invite you to see the church the way you'd see a hospital — full of people healing at different speeds. Some are responding to God's word already. Others are still in pain and taking longer, and that's okay too.
What's not okay is staying in isolation. A hospital doesn't heal you if you never let anyone treat you.
So if you're hurting from church, don't go silent about it — bring it to God. Tell Him honestly. Ask Him to help you forgive, even when it still stings. Because Jesus doesn't just comfort the wound, He heals it.

It's not too late.

Never prayed in weeks? Start now.

Never studied the Bible in months? You can start now.

Never tried meditation? Even 15 minutes counts.

God isn't keeping score on how long you've been away. He's just waiting for you to begin again.

THE PEOPLE UNDER THE CHURCH CLOTHS

The teenager who thinks God won't forgive him anymore...

Nobody knows.

Every Sunday, he sits quietly at the back.

He knows when to stand.

He knows when to kneel.

He knows all the worship songs.

He knows the Bible verses.

He even knows how to say, “Amen” at the right time.

But nobody knows what happens when he gets home.

Nobody knows about the nights he falls into po*******hy again.

Nobody knows how many times he has promised himself,

“This is the last time.”

Nobody knows how many times he has deleted the videos.

Deleted the apps.

Blocked the websites.

Prayed.

Cried.

Promised God.

Then went back again.

And now...

He doesn't even feel worthy to pray.

One night, he sat on his bed and whispered:

God, I think You are tired of me.

He had asked for forgiveness so many times that he no longer believed his own prayers.

He opened his Bible.

Closed it.

Tried to pray.

Nothing came out.

Then the thought came:

“What's the point? You will do it again anyway.”

So he stopped trying.

That's how shame works.

First, you fall.

Then you feel guilty.

Then you hide.

Then you isolate yourself.

Then you stop asking for help.

And eventually...

you start believing that your struggle is your identity.

But listen.

You are struggling with something.

You are not the struggle.

Your relapse doesn't mean you should stop fighting.

Your shame doesn't mean God has stopped listening.

And asking for help doesn't make you a fake Christian.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can say is:

“I NEED HELP.”

Talk to someone safe.

Talk to a mature mentor.

Talk to your spiritual leader.

And if your struggle involves compulsive sexual behaviour, seek qualified professional support too.

Because hiding underneath CHURCH CLOTHS won't make the wound disappear.

You can look holy and still be hurting.

You can love God and still need help.

You can fall and still get back up.

Yes, Christians can struggle. Following Jesus does not mean you never face temptation.

It means you no longer have to fight alone.

Grace does not ignore sin. Grace transforms people. And transformation starts with scriptures and Jesus.

Sometimes people are not struggling because they don't love God enough.

The Bible in 1cor 6:18 makes us understand to flee , not negiotiate or use will power.

Sometimes they are stuck in cycles they don't understand.

Understanding your patterns is part of healing.

God cares about your heart, your mind, and your whole story.
