Brother/Sister, do not allow Shaytan to convince you that your relationship with Allah is destroyed. The fact that you feel regret, fear Allah, and continue turning back to Him is itself a sign of faith. Allah says: “Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins” (Qur'an 39:53). Also remember that a person is not accountable for intrusive thoughts and unwanted ideas that enter the mind without choice. Your duty is to keep struggling, repenting, and seeking Allah's help, not to surrender to despair.
As for the vow, do not focus on the punishment you mentioned in a moment of emotion. Allah is Most Merciful, and Islam does not teach believers to lose hope because of their mistakes. Continue making sincere tawbah, strengthen your salah, avoid triggers as much as possible, and seek professional support if this has become a long-term compulsive struggle. Do not measure your relationship with Allah by how many times you fall; measure it by how many times you sincerely return to Him. The believer's path is not perfection—it is repentance, perseverance, and hope in Allah's mercy.
May Allah forgive your sins, purify your heart and thoughts, strengthen you against temptation, accept your repentance, and bring you closer to Him with every struggle and every return. Ameen. 🤲
And Allah knows best.
