Let's take a look at one of the essential thing that builds and sustain us...
THE WORD! THE WORD!! THE WORD!!!
In continuation, THE WORD PURIFIES AND SANCTIFIES
Eph 5:26
NIV:to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through THE WORD..
Here we can see that the Word of God SANCTIFIES our heart..
As Christians, CHRIST-LIKE, expected to imitate that attribute HOLINESS, which will come from inside of us, don't forget SANCTIFICATION is one of the process of making of an heir...
This can't be accomplished without the WORD of God....
It PURIFIES our heart and make us perfect before GOD , no wonder the bible says in
Heb 4¹²; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart
Wen we MEDITATE and not only READ the WORD, it ll make us discover some SILENT WEAKNESS in us and ALIGN us with God the more..
In as much as we are consistent and persistent with THE STUDY OF GOD'S WORD.....
If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; says John 8..
So it will purify us and set us ready to have an UNUSUAL ENCOUNTER with God, don't forget Psalmist says in Chapter 24³-⁴ AMP:Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place?
AMP:He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully....
And This can made possible through Thorough Meditation and Adherence to GOD'S WORD.....
God is Lifting us
