Today’s message confronted us with how we should live our lives as Stewards.
The charge was clear: “Keenly Shamar — Manage Your Seed & Your Field.
📖 Proverbs 27:24–27 | 1 Corinthians 4:2 | Genesis 2:15
God has already deposited in you a seed(your gift, talent or skill) and assigned you a field (your domain, space, calling).
Your outcome in life is not determined by what you were given… but by how well you manage it.
💡 “It is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Then came a hard but necessary truth:
> Nigeria is not suffering from lack of resources…
> Nigeria is suffering from lack of Shamar — lack of management.
Think about it:
☀️ Sunlight
🌱 Fertile soil
💧 Water sources
⛏️ Abundant mineral resources
🌍 Favorable climate
We are blessed with nearly everything —but mismanagement converts abundance into scarcity.
⚠️Remember THE LAW OF ATROPHY
Anything you fail to use, develop, or engage… you will eventually lose.
That means:
* Untapped gifts will decay
* Ignored skills will fade
* Neglected callings will die
🚨 If you don’t manage it, you will lose it.
So what must you do?
✨ Build Capacity Intentionally
* 🧠 Mental & Intellectual (Stay sharp, think deeply)
* 🔥 Spiritual (Stay connected to God)
* 🧭 Moral (Stand for what is right)
* 💪 Psychological (Be bold and courageous - 2 Timothy 1:7 — Power, Love, Sound Mind)
* 📊 Administrative (Manage systems, not just effort)
* 🤝 Relationship (Your relationship with people determines how far you go in life.
📈 Master the Art of Consistency
Relevance is not accidental—it is sustained.
* Stay updated in your field
* Keep learning, sharpening, upgrading
💼 Stay Winning Through Reinvention
* Learn & Re-learn
* Invent & Re-invent
* Package & Re-package
* Brand & Re-brand
🔥 Here is the reality:
You don’t need more opportunities…
You need better management of the ones you already have.
👉 The real question is not “What is missing?”
👉 The real question is “What am I mismanaging?”
