*TODAY WORD OF LIGHT 7/10/2026*
*A CRY FOR FREEDOM*
«“They made their lives bitter, forcing them to mix mortar and make bricks and do all the work in the fields. They were ruthless in all their demands.”
Exodus 1:14 (NLT)
The children of Israel were not merely working hard; they were being oppressed. Their lives had become bitter under the cruelty of their taskmasters. But their suffering did not mean that God had forgotten them.
There are seasons when life can feel like Egypt—where burdens seem endless, progress appears impossible, and every effort produces another demand. You may be carrying a burden that nobody else understands.
But there is good news: God hears the cry of His people.
Israel's bo***ge eventually became the platform for God's mighty intervention. The same God who saw their affliction and delivered them is still able to break every chain and bring His people into freedom.
Do not allow the bitterness of your present situation to convince you that your story will end there. Your Egypt is not your destiny.
Today, cry out to God in faith. Where there is oppression, may God bring liberty. Where there is bo***ge, may He release you. Where there is prolonged struggle, may divine intervention arise.
Your cry will not be ignored. Your freedom is coming!
*PRAYER*
Father, in the name of Jesus, every power and circumstance making my life bitter, I ask for divine intervention. Break every chain of oppression, deliver me from every bo***ge, and lead me into the freedom and purpose You have ordained for me. Let my cry become a testimony of Your mighty deliverance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
