But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Mathew 15:13.

What Jesus is saying in this context is that every wrong knowledge planted by the pharisee will be rooted out.

Wrong knowledge is an enemy of spiritual growth.

He used the sentence; "WILL BE rooted out" because he is yet to die, his death gave us access to the Spirit..

When you see a prayer life that is not growing, is either the person possessed wrong knowledge (or no knowledge) or he/she refused to yield to the knowledge.

What does it mean to pray in the Spirit?

For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 1 Corinthians 14:14.

What makes praying in the Holy Ghost significant?

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20.

What was Paul's advice?

Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy and forbid not to speak with tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:39.

Why?

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26..

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5:17.

The flesh does not like prayer, he will fight it with every scripture he knows.

Have you seen people that use scriptures to back up their sinful or carnal behavior?

The flesh knows how to manipulate the mind and use wrong Bible interpretation to comfort himself.

Beware of giving in to the flesh, he can destroy your spiritual arsenal and take away your prayer life.

The flesh must be stretched, and be exposed to prayer and study of the world via discipline until flesh no longer rules your vessel.

Saturday 21st October 2023.

And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. Luke 22:40.

Jesus told his disciples to pray against temptation (just one prayer point.

The reason for that prayer point is so that they can gather enough strength to overcome temptation that will certainly come their way, but their eyes were so heavy that they began to sleep until the time of prayer passed away.

Listen, it's very dangerous to procrastinate prayer. Don't try it.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

If you fall into temptation is not because the temptation is higher than you, is just your failure to make hay when the sun was shining.

Pray now and not tomorrow.

Hold fast/Stay with it/Never give up!

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23.

But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. Revelation 2:25.

Don't quit so soon!

People quit their profession/confession and prayer if the result is delayed.

No! Don't quit believing in God's promises because of delay.

Answers to prayers may take time, but no prayer is a waste.

Just keep pushing it, and never quit, those that refuse to hold fast, easily go with the flow/wind of distractions, the flow of worries, the flow of the enemy.

Refuse to quit, the problem will quit when you are not quitting.

Just like the popular quote that says; quitters never win and winners never quit

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

There are three things you need to have a blazing fire. Fuel, oxygen, and heat.

Prayer is the oxygen you use to stoke the flames high.

Spending time in prayer is spending time in the presence of God and the presence of God is the air that our souls need to be on fire.

Prayer Is The Vital Breath Of The Christian; Not The Thing That Makes Him Alive, But The Evidence That He Is Alive.

When you pray, you are breathing. You are taking in the vital element that gives life to your soul.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Revelation 2:10.

Smith Wigglesworth said, "Great faith comes out of great tests"

And Kenneth Hagin compliments the saying "Great victory comes out of a great battle"

Though Faith indeed comes by continuously hearing God's word. But the faith acquired by hearing must be put to work, especially in times of tests and trials because tests and trials are inevitable, they unveil the level of our faith.

And the truth is, troubles and all kinds of tests help our faith to grow.

Faith is not just believing God, faith is your faithfulness to God, it is a force that commits you to God only in every matter.

Remember 👉 faith is a responsibility.
