*A MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT ON THE EVENT OF AYF NIGERIAN 73RD ANNIVERSARY*
1. Beloved Brethren in Christ,
2. We give thanks to God Almighty for great things He has done for us through the ages past and many more He's doing. May His name be praised. Amen
3. We are here again with great joy amidst this ravaging pandemic to celebrate our birth anniversary (the event of 7th May 1947) *2020 Youth Week*, handed over to us by our founding fathers.
4. This year's Youth Week is coming in a time when the whole world is on a stand still over the Covid19 pandemic and Nigeria is not an exception as the number of confirmed cases keeps rising on a daily basis. Rather than worry, as Christians we are encouraged to stand firm and know that our Redeemer Lives and He would always safeguard us.
5. Our Faith has again been challenged for the world and our immediate environment to see what we will do differently as soldiers of Jesus Christ.
6. We are aware of the hunger and agony this seat at home has caused for our members across the church of Nigeria. We equally appreciate the palliatives being given out by some of our church leaders in order cushion the effect of this virus. Now, we urge the various blocs and especially, Diocesan Councils to see to how best we can help our needy Youths and at same time, appreciate those Diocesan Councils that are already doing this.
7. As regards the proposed *_National Leadership Retreat cm AGM,*_ we will keep updating us as things unfolds. At the moment, there is restrictions on interstate travels and as such, the AGM is still on hold as other planned events so far.
8. We are all encouraged to strictly adhere to NCDC guidelines concerning Covid-19 in order to stay safe and avoid the spread of the virus.
9. We sincerely commend all for participating in the online prayers and for the way and manner we are upholding one another, God bless you all. *Nevertheless, be reminded that we shall at 8pm today observe a Prayer session on this platform to appreciate God for this far He has led us*
10. As we celebrate our 73rd anniversary today, we joyfully congratulate all Youths in Anglican Communion and wish you all a happy youth week. For those Councils who may not be able celebrate this week at the moment due to social gathering restrictions by Government, you are welcome to reschedule to when it's safer to do.
11. As your President, we will continue to uphold our values, working relentlessly and tirelessly to protect and preserve one of the prides of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion (i.e the Anglican Youth Fellowship), a leading, impactful, purposeful fellowship. We are all one and in oneness we are united in the Perfect Man Jesus Christ.
12. Remember, *GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN.*

What's on your mind?
The devil is very strong...
Do you know, if the devil went straight to Adam to convince him to neglect and go against GOD'S instruction pertaining to a particular fruit, he (the devil) won't succeed, no matter how strong he is...
Note: The devil's target wasn't Eve at all, but he knows that if he could get Eve, he would definitely get Adam through Eve...
The question is 'WHO IS EVE'?
* Adam's bestie
* Adam's closest friend
* Adam's gossip mate
* Adam's adviser
* Adam's love
* Adam's neighbor
* Adam's assistant
* Adam's helpmeet
* Adam's colleague
* Adam's prayer partner
* Adam's wife
Excuse me sir/madam; watch your window, you should be wise to know what I mean by 'your window'...
The devil on his own can't get you he always needs an Eve... Without which it becomes difficult(impossible) for him to get you...
Eve is important in the journey of life (at any aspects of life), but not as important as the INSTRUCTION...
If Adam was spiritually alert, he would have escaped the devil's trap through Eve; and possibly be in the position to deliver Eve..... (As it is said, a blind man cannot lead a fellow blind man)
Please, escape from EVE now, that you may be able to save EVE later... (JESUS was able to escape HIS own Eve and later succeeded in saving Peter ) - Matthew 16:21-23

MUCH RESPECT TO WHOEVER WROTE THIS ARTICLE
__It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you that is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grows old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of it. And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others. A cow eats grass and gets fat but if dog eats grass, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your race. What works for one person may be that which will kill you. Focus on the gifts and talents God gave you and don’t be envious of the blessings He gave others_ .
Both Lion and Shark are professional hunters, BUT:
A Lion cannot hunt in the Ocean and a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle
That a Lion cannot hunt in the ocean doesn't make him useless and that a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle doesn't also make him useless both have their own territory where they can do well
If a rose smells better than tomatoes, It doesn't mean the rose can make a better stew. Don't try to compare yourself to others. You also have your own strength, look for it and build on it. All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up. Remember that Broken crayons still colour.
_Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal...!
