🌿 DAILY DEVOTIONAL 🌿
Title: God as a Deliverer
Key Verse:
“The Lord is my rock and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold". Psalm 18:2

Reflection:
In life, we all face challenges—some fiery like the furnace faced by Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Yet, God does not always remove the fire. Instead, He often steps into the fire with us, shielding us, strengthening us, and showing us that His presence is our true deliverance.

Daniel’s friends declared confidently in Daniel 3:17–18:
"Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us... But even if He does not, we will not serve your gods."
And truly, God delivered them not from entering the fire, but from *being consumed by it.

Similarly, Jesus is called the Deliverer in Romans 11:26, fulfilling the prophecy in Isaiah 59:20:
“The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”

Encouragement:
God's deliverance doesn’t always mean escape. Sometimes, it means endurance through the storm, with His presence as our peace. Whether you’re walking through fire, deep waters, or darkness, trust this: God is with you, and He will deliver you in His way, and in His time.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my Deliverer. Even when You don’t remove the situation, I know You’re with me through it. Strengthen my faith to trust Your presence and Your power. Amen.
