Ramadan 2024.
Day 19: 29/3/24. *Herdsmen & Herdsmenism.*

🕌On this day of the Ramadan, it's good to do some dreaming. In life, we are driven by dreams.

🕌Just imagine a church of herdsmen for herdsmen and led by herdsmen. A Jesus community of faith washed by His Blood from all their banditries terrorisms, and fulanization, wearing their turbans and worshipping Jesus in their own unique way and styles.

🕌Dream of a church where their women sing praises to God in their language and the men sit numerously in a manner befitting herdsmen, with the Good Herdsman in their midst.

🕌Imagine a community of faith in Christ among herdsmen where they do their baptisms in a knitted sacks sheet with ropes tied at different ends, making it into a big hole where water can be poured and they baptise themselves in it.
Imagine a church entirely different from your familiar understanding of what a church is.

🕌Could this be what God too is dreaming of happening as He brings herdsmen more and more into our communities? Does God dream? When Jesus walked His way steadily to the cross undistracted, was such a dream latently hidden in Him, driving Him through all the agonies of the last week of His life?
Let us pray!

🙏🏾Does such a dream make sense to you? Can your church dream such a dream? Can God call such a community to Himself from such a hostile people? Pray for new dreams and paradigm shifts that will ultimately change the current narratives.

🙏🏾As herdsmenization increases in our communities, pray that instead of being gripped by herdsmenophobia, believers in churches will dream dreams and see visions of what God is capable of doing among herdsmen.

🙏🏾Pray that these heartless bad hersmen will come to a point where they will cry to the Good Herdsman, "Have mercy on us. Remember me (us) in your kingdom."

🙏🏾Pray that God will take away herdsmenophobia from your own heart and replace it with new dreams and visions.

👍🏼Thank you for praying for yourself, for believers, and organized churches in host communities.
May our eyes see this dream come to pass among herdsmen of our days. Amen!

Ramadan 2024.
Day 17: 27/3/24. *Herdsmen & Herdsmenization.*

🕌Herdsmenism is the fastest growing mission challenge to the Nigerian church. With herdsmen poised to fill every available space in every community, from Gambaru-Ngala border to Badagary border, herdsmenized communities is the new face of a mission field in the shadow of the church.

🕌In my mama's village, a headsman took position there and established himself, married a local woman, and has three children already.
As a way of engaging him, seeing his living in my village as an opportunity to bring the gospel into his life (since i cannot go to Zinder in Niger Republic where he came from), I began to frequent the village so I could interact with him. We became friends with a purpose.

🕌In that way, I have engaged him with the gospel many times in different ways. Slowly and gradually, he' been moved forward in his journey towards salvation.

🕌Herdsmen has the vision to herdsmenized every community in the shadow of the church. But the church is yet to develop a vision to evangelize every herdsmenized community in her orbit.

🙏🏾Pray that the purpose why God brought herdsmen closer to the church will be fulfilled. Genesis 16:12d.

🙏🏾The salvation of many herdsmen awaits them in the shadow of the church. Pray that churches and fellowships in all communities where herdsmen occupy will come alive and begin to do something differently about reaching out.
Pray that many churches will pray for herdsmen communities closer to them in this Ramadan.

🙏🏾Pray for yourself that you will look for one to befriend, pray for, reach out to, and talk to about Jesus, the Good Herdsman.

👍🏼The power of prayer is not in the person who prays nor in the person who is prayed for, but in the Person who answers the prayer.

Ramadan 2024.
Day 16: 26/3/24. *Herdsmen & Herdsmenization.*

🕌In this third week of the Ramadan, we are touching the lives of herdsmen in their herdsmenization drives with our prayers. This is so that God will bring about His kingdom to be established among them.

🕌We had set up a stage for an open air preaching at the entrance of a large migrant community. The preacher had concluded his powerful gospel presentation. He called out to migrants to respond to the message, and many began to step forward to ask Jesus into their hearts.

🕌Among those who stepped out was Amodu, a young herdsman. Noticing him among the respondents, one of the workers called him aside and asked him if he understood what he was doing. Amodu responded: _"Yes, I know what I am doing. I want to accept Jesus._ "Are you not afraid of what will happen to you?", the worker queried Amodu further. _"Afraid of who in this place? Who will hinder me from following Jesus here?"_ Amodu answered.

🕌Seeing that he understood the decision he was taking, the worker allowed him to move ahead with his decision. Looking typically a young herdsman, Amodu did accept Jesus that night!
After the session, the worker counseled him further and showed him where people like him will meet on Sunday to learn more about Jesus and worship Him.

🕌The following Sunday. Amodu was one of the first to come to the migrant church. He did not hide among members, he came and sat in the front so he could hear God's word better and clearer.

🙏🏾Like Amodu, thousands of young Fulani herdsmen are all over towns and cities, with many in migrant communities and many more in obscured _rugan Fulani_ buried in bushes and forests outside towns and cities. Pray for a powerful move of God among them that will eventually lead to their salvation.

🙏🏾Like Amodu, many of them are encountering the gospel from different workers/believers in diverse places, with some making decisions while in some what they hear lay foundation for further hearing. Pray for thousands of young Fulani /Shuwa Arabs herdsmen in diaspora that salvation will happen to them as they get exposure to the gospel.

🙏🏾There are many kingdom workers who are bracing all odds to enter into the lives and communities of herdsmen to witness to them in one way or another. Pray that the hand of God will be evident in the lives and ministries of all such workers.

🙏🏾"God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform." Pray that this truth will be made real in these dangerous times among herdsmen to perform wonders of salvation among them.

👍🏼Thank you for believing that there is enough grace in God that will bring herdsmen and bandits to Christ in mysterious ways. Amen!

🙌 Thank the Lord for the provision of some printing equipment.

🙏 Ask the Lord to provide another D1 Machine for us and other printing machines needed.

🙏 Ask the Lord to bless and sanctify all the tools and equipment we will be using in the studio for His Gospel purposes.

🙏 Pray that all the evaluation analysis done with our local teams on Scripture engagement will enable them to understand the importance of Scripture in their mother tongue.

🙏 Pray that they will practice the skill given to them.

🙏 Pray for grace and wisdom for staff in the Administrative and Account Units.

Ramadan 2024.
Day 11: 21/3/24. *Migrant Youth.*

🕌 _Gidan Wasa_ : In many migrant communities, there are secluded and specially carved out hop joints where women dance almost naked to lewd music.
In these _Gidan wasa_, it is not only lewd dance that is reigns there; smoking and drugs are essential part of evening life.

🕌 _Arewa Joints_: Whereas the _Gidan wasa_ are mostly operated by Muslim youth, _Arewa joints_ are in most cases run by northern non-Muslim women. Here, they brew local northern gin, _Burukutu_, and soak themselves in it. Young folks drink themselves to stupor, particularly on Sundays.

🕌In both _Gidan wasa_ and _Arewa joints_, fights can easily break out. Sexual immorality holds sway over patronizers of both joints. In fact, in _Gidan wasa_ , if you arrive there and you are willing, you can be fixed with a woman with a little bargain.
They are dens where anything is allowable.

🙏🏾Pray that young men and women who are held in strong captivity in these joints will be set free. The chains that hold youth here are very strong.

🙏🏾In many cases, attempts to confront _Gidan wasa_ have not been very successful yet. Pray that the doors that close youth in there will be thrown open for gospel engagement so that some will hear and be set free.

🙏🏾Those who own those places are lords of a sort, connected not only to evils but to some form of security immunity. Pray for the owners and operators that the finger of God will descend on them and change the narratives of their lives for good.

🔹 Hassan is a new believer (MBB). Recently, someone told his parents about his relationship with the Missionaries and since then, he has not been consistent in prayer meetings and Bible study.

🙏 Pray that he will remain standing despite the challenges facing him.

🔹 His wife almost left him but God intervened and they are back together.

🙏 Pray God to keep them together.
