Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return. (Qur'an 2:156)

With profound sorrow and complete submission to the decree of Allah (SWT), we announce the passing of Malam Yahaya Billi, the Leader of JIBWIS (Izala), Besse, who reportedly passed away yesterday after being held by kidnappers.

Death is a reality that every soul must face, and every life has a fixed term known only to Allah. We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, envelops him in His infinite mercy, grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and blesses his grave with light and peace.

May Allah also grant his family, loved ones, the JIBWIS community, and the entire Muslim Ummah the patience and strength to bear this painful loss. Ameen.
