Our Journey The history of Integrity Family Ministry International Inc (a.k.a The Integrity Assembly) dates back to 2005 when Paul Kyenge Sr. in obedience to God, and with less than N2000 (about $13) -- but filled with the Word of God -- moved to Gboko at the beginning of 2005. The Bible says to "despise not humble beginnings", and humble beginnings are exactly where The Integrity Assembly (TIA) w
as birthed. Pastor Paul started conducting Bible study meetings at #23 Commissioner Allagh Street, GRA, Gboko under a mango tree. Soon the venue for the Bible study meeting changed to a renowned Laurel Children Academy; a private nursery and primary school also located in GRA not too far from the GRA Post Office, Gboko-North. The Bible study meetings held twice a week; on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Most times the crowds averaged less than 10 people. Pastor Paul's original vision in moving to Gboko was to start a Mission training school, which would bring together Believers from all backgrounds to learn the truths of the gospel and principles for successful Christian living. However, as God directed his steps, he was led to start a church and founded The Integrity Assembly in 2005. On the 12th of June 2005, The Integrity Assembly was inaugurated as a fully fledged church. With the young growing assembly, Pastor would teach the Word of God, as well as lead praise and worship. After two years, Pastor sought the Lord about moving the church to a nicer facility, and, a short time later, a debilitated hotel located in Gboko's North Side was rented, renovated and could be used for worship services. With less than 50 members, the church began meeting in a humble restaurant of a debilitated hotel. This hotel was located at # 62 Gyado Hospital road, and was used for the main services, the children's ministry, and some of the ministry's administrative offices. But the church move to this restaurant was not without its challenges. After signing the lease, a great number of the membership decided not to make the move to Gyado Hospital road. With a relatively large yearly rent and only a handful of members, God reminded Pastor Paul that He was Pastor's source, not people. Pastor Paul turned his eyes back on God and faithfully confessed God's Word for increase and growth. New members steadily came each year, and the church's growth soon led to the need for a still larger worship center. As the Word of God moved in the hearts of the faithful, the church grew and membership quickly outgrew the Gyado hospital road facility. In search of a more suitable, yet spacious building, the church believed God for her own facility. In September 2009 God gave TIA a 0.183ha plot of land (cost of land fully paid for) along Chief A Adi road which was to house the Worship Center. This also came with it a challenge; which the church ultimately overcame. From 2009 through 2011, the church's rented space for services at the said debilitated hotel, becoming increasingly small for the people attending, a second service was started for effective space management. The Integrity Assembly started running two services on Sunday morning. On the 23rd December, 2012 The Integrity Assembly moved to their land along Chief AdiAdor road where they had constructed a temporary structure to serve as their Worship Center. It is evident that God is not stopping here, and we will continue to go in and possess the land wherever He leads us. Today, with a growing congregation, The Integrity Assembly represents a progressive body of Believers whose "active" faith, reverence of, and obedience to the Word of God enables us to converge around a common mission.
