Winning Your Battles Now That You Are Young

Youth is not merely a season of enjoyment; it is a season of preparation, strength, courage, and destiny. The battles you refuse to confront today can become stronger tomorrow.

Every generation has its giants. For young people today, some of these giants include laziness, drug addiction, sexual immorality, po*******hy, cultism, gambling, excessive digital gaming, unhealthy social media habits, and other forms of destructive distraction.

Like David before Goliath, you must learn to confront your giants while you are young. Don’t normalize what is destroying you. Don’t call bo***ge a lifestyle. Don’t allow temporary pleasure to mortgage your future.

Winning begins with recognizing the battle, turning to God, and making deliberate choices. Build your life around prayer, God’s Word, discipline, godly friendships, meaningful work, service, and accountability. When you fall, don’t remain down—rise, seek help, and continue the journey.

Your youth is an opportunity. Your strength is an opportunity. Your time is an opportunity.

There are battles you must win now, because there are assignments God has prepared for you that require the strength, courage, and availability of your youth.

Win your giants. Guard your destiny. Give your youth to God.
