MOMENT OF DAILY ENCOUNTER (MODE)

Date: 10TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

TOPIC: SACRIFICE A HAND THAT CAN TURN ON THE SWITCH OF THE BLESSING
⚓Scripture: Genesis 22: 17. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Beloved,, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! In continuation of our discussion on doing the needful to turn on the switch of The Blessing. We shall be looking at sacrifice as a hand that can turn on the switch of The Blessing.

*What are the various steps of turning on the blessing?*
A. Step one recognize the carrier of The Blessing which we identify as priest, parents, and mentors.
B. Go ahead and do the needful, which are:
I. Honouring the carrier of The blessing. One of the carrier of The Blessing is the Priest which are regarded as servant of God or men with uncommon grace. Another carrier of the blessing are parents and metors. Honouring both biological and spiritual parents plus mentors pulls the trigger for the release of the blessing (For more details check previous edition)

II. Sacrifice: Sacrifice is a powerful trigger for the release of The Blessing. Once it is deployed, The blessing is bound to come out forcefully. You can not be sacrificial to God in your living and not end up in The Blessing!. Men who understands this tricks lived practically a sacrificial life all through their life time and their lives is never void of The Blessing.
All through the Bible are men who enter into the door of The Blessing through sacrifice.

*Why is sacrifice a trigger for the release of the blessing?*
A. It is because sacrifice has a voice! Every sacrifice here on earth has a voice that speaks in heaven.
B. Sacrifice acts like a ladder that connects a man to his blessing. That's why until Abraham offered up his son Isaac he did not get a sworn blessing (Gen.22:16-17)

*Example of men who are sacrificial to God and the blessing follows them;*
I. Noah: He turned on the switch of The Blessing by building an altar and sacrifice on that altar he built to God. The Bible said :
*Genesis 8: 20. And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.*

The next thing we hear of Noah was the Lord blessed him.
*Genesis 9: 1. And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.*

II. Abraham: He was instructed by God to sacrifice his only son Isaac(Gen.22:2). He obeyed promptly without delay to the point of pulling out the sword to kill his son as a sacrifice to God that was when God interrupted the whole thing and pronounce upon him a sworn blessing.
*Genesis 22: 16. And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;*

III. David: He understood the language of sacrifice that was why when he was asked to raise an altar(2Sam.24:18), he said he will not give to God that which did not cost him (2Sam.24:24), which is the true definition of sacrifice. It must cost you something. And David ended up a blessed man such that he single
handedly finance the building of the first temple that is called Solomon temple (1Chro.29:1-5).

IV. Solomon: He offered sacrifice to God and the next thing we hear was God appear to him in the dream asking him what does he want. From that dream encounter Solomon wake up a blessed man.
*1 Kings 3: 4. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. 5. In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.*
*1 Kings 3: 13. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. 15. And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.*

The list continue of men who were sacrificial to God and in turn God bless them. For the brevity of time and space I have chosen only these four.

Beloved, sacrifice is indeed a hand that can pull the trigger for the release of your desired blessing.

*Remember this* : Heaven is real, and hell is real. The vision of heaven you have received determines how you live each day of your life on earth. Give your heart to Jesus if you haven't done so today.
*Prayer points:*
~- Father thank you for your word to me today.
~ Father help me to live a life of sacrifice towards God and humanity in Jesus name.
*Prophetic Declaration:*
~ I prophesy the blessing that makes rich and that changes people story is coming upon you now in the name of Jesus.
~- The voice of sacrifice which you have made shall be heard in the heavenly and you are rewarded accordingly in Jesus mighty name.

*Assignment* : Check your level of sacrifice for the kingdom of God, and see how you can improve on it today.

TOPIC: HONOURING YOUR PARENTS, STEPS TO TURN ON THE SWITCH OF THE BLESSING
⚓Scripture: Ephesians 6: 2. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! In continuation of our discussion on how to turn on the switch of The Blessing, we did established earlier on that the first step is to identify the carrier of The Blessing which we identify as priest, parents and mentors! Then the second step is to do the needful. And one of the needful is to honour the vessels that carries the blessing. Yesterday, we examine honouring the priest/ your pastors as the vessels that carries the blessing. One key reason why we must honour carrier of the blessing is because honour is the bridge between you and your desired blessing.
Every blessing you desire on earth someone else is already enjoying it, so go that person and enjoy grace by honouring the person. What you are struggling to get some one else is enjoying it without sweat. Wisdom demands we humble ourselves, honour this vessels whether he/she blessed you or not a law has been activated in the realm of the spirit that will release your desired blessing.Today, we shall be looking at honouring your parents as a step to turn on The Blessing.

*Honouring your parents:*
Both your spiritual parents and biological parents deserve your honour. Some honour spiritual parents and dishonour their biological parents that is a great error! It is like saying plus one minus one which is equal to zero. Don't honour your spiritual parents and despise the gate that brought you into this world. Don't dishonour the hands that nurse you at infancy before you become who you are today. So both your spiritual father and biological father deserve your honour. Honour them in your heart and publicly. Your father may be a farmer or a mechanic and you are a medical doctor, that should not take away the honour meant for your father. You must honour them irrespective of how God has lifted you. Learn to go on your knees before your parents as a mark of honour. Someone may be asking should I honour parents that are known for evil?" Yes is the answer! Oh you may say they are witches and wizard, why must I honour such a person? Please understand that irrespective of who your parents are, they might be harbalist, juju priest, a drunkard etc. Your biological parents are your parents, they don't have substitute, honour them the way they are and you will be turning on the switch of The Blessing upon your life. You must also know that it is not only your mother that brought you into this world, so don't honour mother and despise father. The Bible said :
*Ephesians 6: 2. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.*

Beloved, from the scripture above, if you honour mother and dishonour father, it is in complete! It is when you honour father and mother then then it will be well with you! So, if it is not well with you check it out it is possible you are disobeying the law of honour to your parents.

*Why do you need to honour your parents?*
A. The Bible command you to do so(Eph.6v2)! So in obedience to the scrpture, honour your parents.
B. Your parents are the gate way that brought you out into this world. If they have agreed to kill you, you wouldn't have been existing today. To honour them therefore is to honour the gateway that brought you into this world.
C. Honouring your parents is pulling the trigger of The Blessing upon your life. For example when Isaac was to transfer The Blessing to Esau he said:
*Genesis 27: 4. And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.*

You could see that Esau was a man that must have been honouring his father with venison! Hence the description 'such as I love', that message wasn't pass to Jacob because he wasn't the one that usually bring venison. Also observed from this scripture that it is the soul that bless when venison is brought. The mouth can pronounced you are blessed, but it is the soul that has received honour that releases the blessing.

The account of Isaac had it that Jacob brought the venison before Esau could arrived and he collected the blessing before Esau's arrival.

Beloved, don't seat down while the blessing that is meant for you from your parents is being hijack and diverted to someone else, because of your lack of honour to them. Instead of your parents to go to the grave with the blessing in their mouths, they will rather give it to whoever satisfied the requirements and that is honour. Honour your parents today and watch your life experience unusual blessing.

I'm aware that there are those who felt they are now educated and as such their illiterate parents should not be honour. They are having celebration party and their parents are not invited, some will even instruct security operatives to send them back from the gate because they feel embarrassed introducing them to their colleagues. When you dishonour your parents because of your achievement, educational attainment or what have you, you have indirectly lay a curse on your life that will speak in a matter of time.

*How do you honour your parents?*
I. With your hearts: Let your heart honour your parents. Never you despise them in your heart.
II. With your words; Let your words show to them that you honour them.
III. With your substance (materials things): Let something leave your hands on constant basis to your parents.

In conclusion, men that understand honour are men with the trigger for turning on the switch of The Blessing.

*Remember this* Heaven is real and hell is real. Those that reject Jesus and His atoning work on earth will regret it in hell.
*Prayer points:*
~ Father thank you for your word to me today.
~ Father help me to honour my parents always in the name of Jesus.
*Prophetic Declaration:*
~ I prophesy the release of the blessing as you honour your parents in the name of Jesus.
~ I declare restoration of your losses now as a result of dishonour in the name of Jesus.

*Assignment:* Prepare to honour your parents in a unique way this season and the blessing shall locate you

MOMENT OF DAILY ENCOUNTER (MODE)
Date: 8TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

TOPIC: STEPS TO TURN ON THE SWITCH OF THE BLESSING
⚓Scripture: Romans 13: 7. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Yesterday, we established that the same way you turn on the switch of your electrical appliances in various homes, so also we can turn on the switch of The Blessing. We went on to identify the switch of The Blessing as carrier/custodian of The Blessing which are priests, parents and metors. We went on to say our first assignment is to discovered and recognize those that are carrier or custodian of The Blessing. And we conclude that it is not enough to identify them without doing the needful that can make the blessing flow. Today, we shall be looking at doing the needful which is the second step that unlock The Blessing from the carrier to receiver.

*What are the steps that turn on the switch of The Blessing?*
The following are steps to follow:
I. The first step is Recognize the carrier of The Blessing. If you cannot recognize the carrier of the blessing you might likely be standing by one without knowing! You might even be fighting and insulting the one that holds the key to your next-door without knowing. However if you can identify them it becomes easy to access what they carry. (For more details check yesterday's meditation)

II. The second steps is doing the needful: if you can recognize the carrier of your blessing and fails to do the needful the blessing will not flow! Infact you can hang around them for many years and not partake in what they carry yet a stranger who knows how to do the needful will come and partake in what they carry. Recognize the carrier of your blessing without doing the needful is like standing before a switch in your house and be expecting light without switching it on or standing before a tap and be expecting it to flow without turning on the tap. So it is with the blessing, we must make effort to switch on the switch once we can identify the carrier of the blessing.

*What then is the needful that we must do?*
A. Honouring the carrier of The Blessing :

*What is honour?*
According to Merriam Webster dictionary honour means to show appreciation, respect, or affection for (someone) with a public celebration.

Honour also means to show regards, to hold someone with high esteemed both in your heart and in the public.

Please note that honour begins with the heart. The Bible said;
*Jeremiah 17: 9. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10. I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, .....*

Most people honour men in the public, but dishonour them in their heart. God is not only interested in public show of honour, He is also interested in the honour in your heart (Jer. 17:9, 1Sam. 2:3)

*How then do we honour?*
A. We honour with our heart
B. We honour with our words
C. We honour with our substance which is also called honorarium for priest.

Please note, God watches our hearts before any action of giving a gift or saying a word to honour someone. God weighs your action if truly you are mocking or you are honouring His servants (1Sam.2:3).

Our anchor scripture(Rom.13:7) said give honour to whom honour is due! And the Bible never left us in the dark as per whom honour is due;
*1 Timothy 5: 17. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.*

We see here the word elder which is another word for Sheperd or Pastors! The elders (pastors) that labour in the word and doctrine that is preaching and teaching deserves double honour! This implies honour them in your heart and also publicly! Honour them with your word and also with your substance (materials). This is why the Bible said:
*Galatians 6: 6. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things* .

The reason for such honour is because honour is a trigger that pull out The Blessing. In Jesus' hometown, the people couldn't get blessed by Jesus' ministry because they could not discern and give him that honour that is due to him. Hence, Jesus said;
*Mark 6: 4. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.*

*How does Honour turn on the switch of The Blessing:*
I. Honour is a law in the realm of the spirit (Heb. 7:7). Because honour is a law, So what you honour comes to you naturally and what you despise run away from you. This is a great lesson!. Some have never honour their pastor with a seed before, if that's you, please repent of it today.

It is worthy of note, that honouring an individual who is walking in the realm of your desired blessing is a good thing. On this wise a single person who desired to be married can contact the blessing of marriage by honouring married man/woman by so doing you are calling forth your marriage.

II. Honour create a gradient for the flow of the blessing(Heb. 7:7) : It is a well known fact that water flows down hill. Hence when you honour a custodian of The Blessing you create a gradient or a slope for the flow of the blessing from that vessels that carries it into your life. There are so many people who lack this understanding and as such they despise the carrier of their blessing. Hebrew 7:7 reveals that for anything to flow on earth(blessing or graces), some one must assume the position of the blessed while another person the position of the lesser. With this understanding I can easily received from any one at any time without minding age, previous knowledge, experience and so many other factors. God can use the least person to help you out some times. So don't despise any man in your heart.

~ I stand under Grace and prophesy to all that accepts my teaching ministry, you are blessed! The blessing you need for a change of level receive it now in the name of Jesus.

*Assignment:* Check your life to see if there is any way you are dishonouring the carrier of your blessing and do the needful today.

TOPIC : TURNING ON THE SWITCH OF THE BLESSING
⚓Scripture : Numbers 6: 24. The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Some of us have electrical switch at home. In those electrical sockets/switches is electricity that can power your electrical appliances but wouldn't do that until effort is made to switch it on and then you can start enjoying your appliances. And when you don't need the appliances anymore you simply go back there and switch it off. Thesame is applicable to the ight in your room even though there is electricity supply, you will have to make effort to switch on the switch that controls light before your room can be illuminated with light. Otherwise, you will not enjoy the supply of electricity without switching it on. Similarly, The Blessing must be switch on to be able to enjoy the profits of The Blessing. Today, our focus is how to switch on the tap of The Blessing so that it can start flowing into our lives.

*How do you turn on the switch of The Blessing?*
I. The first assignment is to recognize the carrier which I also refers to as custodian of The Blessing. We established previously that there are custodian of the blessing! So, if you desire The Blessing you can simply turn it on when you meet a custodian /carrier of the blessing and do the needful.

*Who are the custodian/carrier of the blessing?*
We must understand that ultimately, all blessings comes from God to man through men. So also The Blessing, which is an operation of the Holy Spirit that makes your life look like the garden of Eden also comes from God. However, there are men whom God has invested The Blessing into their lives for the purpose of transmission and distribution to others who desire to be a recipient of The Blessing. They are referred to as carrier or custodian of the blessing. They includes:
1. Priest
2. Parents
3. Mentors

I. The Priest: The priest are God's vessels of dispensing The Blessing to mankind. The first priest on earth was Adam, although his ministry was limited to his family. However, it was at the time of Moses and Aaron, was when the priesthood was properly constituted and the instructions was given to the Priest on how he to dispense The Blessing. The Bible said :
*Numbers 6: 23. Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, 24. The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:*

Observe the clause "..saying on this wise ye shall bless"- meaning this the how the shoud be dispense, so the blessing is released via speaking.
*Who are the priest?*
There is this argument in some quarters that today every New Testament believers is a priest! But we must understand the limit of being priest is to take incense of prayer to the throne of Grace. We are priests to our God (Rev. 5:10)! And that has not nullified the office of priesthood as set up by Christ who is our High priest because despite that we are all priest as a Christian, God still call men among men into five fold ministry and en-grace them to function in a particular way, it is this function that is termed ministry! If you are called into any of these offices, there is a message, a platform, and a backing for you from the throne of Grace.

The priest therefore are servants of God that God has invested His grace upon. They include your pastor, Prophet, Apostle, Evangelist and Teachers! Anytime, you cry for The Blessing, God will direct you to them or by divine arrangement bring them your way. By all means there's bound to be contact with a servant of God for you to access The Blessing. That is why any pastor you can't honour don't stay under his ministry because The Blessing he carries will not profit you if can't honour grace. Don't stay under the servants of God you can't honour otherwise, you will just be wasting your time.

Every ordained priest is a dispenser of The Blessing! He doesn't need to be your direct pastor only! Anytime you meet with ordained servants of the God, you are in touch with a carrier of The Blessing. Now wether the blessing will flow from them to you is another story all together!

II. The Parents: We have :
A. biological parents- the gateway that brought you into this world! Your father and mother carries The Blessing, it is your responsibility to turn loose what they carry upon your life. Your parents might be illiterate, they might not even be born again yet, God kept a portion of what will unlock your heaven in their life! That's why if they curse you, you will remain curse and if they bless you you are blessed.

B. spiritual parents that birth your spiritual life. They see to your growth and nurture you from infancy to maturity! And they play the role of spiritual coverage, gives feathers to fly, a platform to shine. They rebuked and correct in love when you err. Both biological and spiritual parents carries your blessing! The Bible said:
*Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.*

III. The Mentors: Your Mentors are also God's avenue of releasing The Blessing upon your life. So if you sign up as an apprentice and you left your mentor without being discharge and sent forth with prayers, you have robbed yourself a great deal of The Blessing. There are several mentee who are causing pain in the heart of their mentors! If you are one of such repent because even without the mentor pronouncing anything, such people have already activated a curse upon themselves. If you are an apprentice in any trade/skills, don't just strive to get the knowledge alone, strive to get the blessing from the lips of your masters. Your master carries the key to your next-door, don't sabotage what God is doing in your life.

Once you are able to recognise the carrier of The Blessing, the next assignment is to do the needful so as to receive what they carry.

MOMENT OF DAILY ENCOUNTER (MODE)

TOPIC: THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MYSTERY OF THE BLESSING (PART 2)
⚓Scripture: Genesis 12: 2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Yesterday, we started exploring the characteristics traits of the mystery of the blessing. Today, we shall continue along this line.

*What are the characteristics features of the Mystery of The Blessing?*
I. It is magnetic, so it magnetize every other things into your life that makes for success, progress and victory
II. It makes one rich
III. It is sorrow free ( for details of this check yesterday meditation).

IV. The Blessing is a preservative agents (Isa. 65:8): Just as we add preservatives to some food to ensure they are preserve for a period of time before consumption so also is the blessing. After God created Adam and every other creations, He released The Blessing upon them to be preserved:
*Genesis 1: 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.*

Adam was preserved even among wild lives. No Lion or tiger could harm him not even snakes or scorpion! Our life on earth can be preserved by the mystery of the blessing that God place on us. So when you carry the blessing, your life is exempted from calamity and disaster! You are divinely preserved wherever you go. In these era of high demonic attacks, you need to be preserved by The Blessing.

However, your being preserved is a function of your vision! You must see it before it will happen. David has this type of vision when he said:
*Psalm 91: 5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.*

Until you see it that scripture might not produce results in your life. In this time of high insecurity, you need to see God preserving your life otherwise you will live each day in perpetual fear.

V. The blessing is the cure for rejection (Gen. 27:27): Every life on earth gives characteristics fragrance! Even plants give out characteristics smell! So also is human being. Our lives give out smells. Some of the smell our lives ooze out are smell of acceptance while others rejection! If you are been rejected every where you go, know for sure, it is what is on you that is bringing rejection! Meaning your life is oozing out bad smell of rejection and if acceptance it is a good fragrance or good smells. Isaac understood this and decided to release the blessing upon his son to cure all manner of rejection that may confront him in life!

Beloved, if you are observant very well, you will notice that it is not beauty that gives a good husband! I have see a charming beauty that nobody is saying how now or I want to marry you! Yet you see ugly girls getting the most handsome guy as husband! What is the secret? It lies in what's your life fragrance is? These applies to every other aspects of lives be it marketing, business etc. It is this fragrance that determined the favour you enjoy daily! So you need the blessing to permanently cure disfavour, bad luck or rejection.

VI. The blessing is your advertisement card(Isa.61:9). When the blessing comes upon you it advertise you! It announces you to your world! You don't need an occult or demonic influence to be know, all you need is The Blessing.

VII. The blessing is atmospheric and climatic changer (Gen.30:27,39:5): Laban learned by experience that since a blessed man step into his house every thing change! He started enjoying un-ending growth in every area of his life. Thesame thing with Potipher, the moment a blessed man step into his business every thing grows!
Beloved, there are people you employed and they came with a curse climate that dry off your business while there are those whose presence grows your business, it is all about who is carrying the blessing. It is also applicable to couple, if you married a blessed man/woman their influence in your life means growth and enlargement!
There are so many more which this space will not permit me to mention! I have mention few for us to see the needs to press for The Blessing as these are the traits that defines a blessed man in true sense of it.
