How Can Our Names Be Written in the Book of Life?

The Bible teaches that eternal life is found through Jesus Christ. We must believe in Him, repent of our sins, and place our faith in Him.

Jesus said in John 14:6:

«“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”»

Salvation is not something we earn through money, popularity, position, or human effort. It is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ.

Do Not Wait Until It Is Too Late

One of the greatest dangers in life is assuming that we have plenty of time to get right with God.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

We can spend years pursuing earthly things while neglecting our relationship with God. But when our earthly journey comes to an end, what will matter most is not the size of our bank account or the number of people who knew our name. What will matter is whether God knows us and our name is written in His Book of Life.

A Call to Examine Your Life

The Book of Life should cause every believer to examine their relationship with God.

Are you living for Christ?

Have you truly surrendered your life to Him?

Are you walking in repentance and faith?

Are you prepared for eternity?

These are questions we should not ignore.

Revelation 21:27 gives us a beautiful picture of God's eternal kingdom and reminds us that those who enter are those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Conclusion

The Book of Life is a reminder that eternity is real and that our choices in this life matter.

Do not live only for today. Live with eternity in your heart.

Seek God while you have the opportunity. Put your faith in Jesus Christ. Walk with Him, obey His Word, and remain faithful until the end.

The greatest achievement anyone can have is not to have their name written in the history books of the world, but to have their name written in the Book of Life.

May we all live in such a way that, when the final day comes, our names will be found written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Amen.
