Topic: *Return from Babylon back to the cross*

The land of "Babylon" is figuratively used to describe the place of exile where the LORD sent the backslidden Isreal(God's
own people). God gave them up to the enemy who now dictates and controls their lives.
Backsliding did not start a day,it starts in the heart,its a gradual process in the heart, thats why the scriptures says in proverb 4vs23,24,27.
when we begin to slide little by little,that person will begin to drift to Babylon,thats why the Bible says examine yourself if ye still in the faith,is your name in the book of life? Are you still right with God?
_To dwell in worldliness is to dwell in Babylon_ .
The message today is to call us to return from babylon.its a slow fade when you give yourself away. Do not compromise, _don't have that which is vile and precious together_ or else the Lord will leave such people for Babylon to take over them. The place of hypocrisy is a Babylon.the lord will pardon when people return to him. There is going to be destruction for those staying in Babylon.
Our Redeemer is strong,it's the little sins in our life that makes the devil to opress us,the lord knows everyone.
1 *Sinful Characteristics Of Babylon*
Every Sin makes a man a Citizen of Babylon.
1) Idol worship ( whatever you take greater than God is an idol). Your smart phone could be an Idol.
2) sensuality(Lust and unhealthy relationships.)
3) Arrogance and pride
4) Disobedience to the word of God.
5) Neglect of Godly principles and standard.

Evolutionists believe that our world is an accident. They teach that matter acting on matter, given sufficient time can bring anything into existence. Since most evolutionists are atheists, they try frantically to prove that God did not make the world and that everything in it came into existence over time by itself, man inclusive. But one wonders why man has not changed into another creature since his existence!

The truth is, man is not a creature of chance or our world either. Accidental products cannot have any form of similar designs and regular patterns as we have in humans and all the other creations of God. Man is a product of the well-thought-out-plan of God. He planned the world and systematically brought everything into existence. He carefully made man with very distinct qualities and characteristics and for very speciic purpose, which is to rule and dominate the world.

Some persons have come to conclude that their life is a product of chance or mistake. They feel they are not meant to live or that where they are presently and who they are, is a mistake. Many others feel unfortunate about their race, colour, gender, family and social background, and even their physical features.

God did not make any mistake about anyone, including you. Even if you were born out of wedlock or there were attempts to abort you, God made and placed you where you are now for a definite purpose. Your life will begin to have a new meaning and become worth Iiving once you purge yourself of the lies of the devil concerning your exist
