Have you ever wondered why the believer needs the word? Why do we read or study the word? Why do we even need to meditate on the word, have you ever bothered to ask? God's word was given for a reason. When I read, study or meditate on the word, I give my spirit the opportunity to grow in the things of God. Every day is an opportunity to get into the word and grow in the things of God for yourself. The final destination of every word you read, study or meditate on is your spirit-man because God wants your spirit-man to be educated in the things of God.

God's intention for His word is that it becomes resident in your spirit so you can function from a foundation of faith and fellowship. No man can function and live exactly the way God wants Him to without taking the time to build the word into His spirit. Psalms 119: 130, Heb4:12.
