This is Okporoko River at sapele ,delta state. It is the only river in the world that flows uphill. The water from this river doesn't stay inside a cup or any other container.
If u drink the water from this river, you will automatically vomit the water on the floor and the water will flow back to the River no matter the distance. 🙄🙄🙄

Good morning my dear friends,
I want to use this medium and opportunity to express my glad hearted feelings following your great display of love, care , good will and most importantly you prayers to me on the occasion of my birthday yesterday.
You found it worthy to squeeze out much from your precious time and busy schedule on a typical African Monday dedicated for me even amidst the thoughts of the hardships and total economic recession to melt down staring us in the face , the bad news and others to send me gifts, good will messages and prayers.
I want to assure and reassure all at once that these never went unnoticed nor unappreciated. Without you, I would not know life is this good.

100 YEARS FROM NOW!

100 years from now will be the year 2121.
By then, every single reader of this piece will be underground, our bodies having become part of the soil.
During that time, our fate in respect to paradise or hell would have been made known to us.

Meanwhile above the soil, our houses that were left behind would have become either homes for others or demolished for better structures. Our clothes would have become destroyed or rags for others and replaced by more recent trends; our cars will be on display as historical artifacts by others or recycled for more advanced technology.

But for us, we will be, for the most part, never thought about by anyone again.

Think of it, how often do you think about your great grandfather? How often does your great grandmother cross your mind?.

You see!

Our presence here on earth today, that presence that we make so much noise about and shed so many tears for, was preceded by countless generations before us and shall be followed by countless generations after us.

Every generation that passes through this world barely finds the time to take a glance at the world, before needing to bid it farewell and handing over the baton, having not fulfilled even a fraction of their ambitions.

Our lives are, in reality, far shorter than we imagine.

In 2121, every one of us will realise from within the grave just how worthless this world actually was, and how trivial those dreams were that we centred on.

In 2121, every one of us will be wishing that we had dedicated our lives to great matters of God, doing His bid, and devoted ourselves to doing good deeds, particularly those that continue to benefit us after our death.

In 2121, some reading this piece will be screaming out, but in vain:
“Lord return me! Give me another chance, so that I may have another opportunity to live for you ..”
The response to this request, however, shall be:
“No! and behind them is now a barrier until that Great Day."

In 2121, many will be in regret, saying:
“I wish that I had prepared for life after my journey on earth.

Let us reappraise ourselves, for surely what happened to those we talk of, heard of and read of will surely happen to us. Let us take advantage of today while it is called TODAY.

Tomorrow is not yours until it comes. And keeping our faith in God is the ONLY way out.

Eternal, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient God, we appreciate your goodness and unfailing love shown us every day beyond our understanding, we thank you for your unending grace and immeasurable kindness given to us abundantly in every area of our lives, Lord we bless you and give glory to your great, unfailing, powerful and precious name. Before you sleep every night, tell God to do these seven things for you.

Bible reading and confession: Psalm 3:3 ” But you, O Lord, are a shield that surrounds me.You are my glory, you hold my head high.”

*KEEP PRAYING*

Let nothing be strong enough to cause you not to pray.

Anything that takes you away from prayer is not of God.

When you succeed, pray.

When you fail, pray even more.

When you are in good spirit, pray.

When you are sad, pray.

If you are living in holiness, pray.

When you are entangled in a sin, still pray.

When you feel guilty of a sin, pray.

When you plan to pray, start praying before you reach the time you planned to pray.

Pray during your prayer time, pray before your prayer time and pray after your prayer time. God hears all prayers whether in your prayer time or out of your prayer time, He hears!

When you wake up before your alarm, pray.

When you wake up after your alarm, don't be guilty, still pray.

Pray in season and pray out of season.

*Don't just talk prayer, don't just plan prayer and don't just wish to pray. Start praying now.*

Pray everyday!
Pray in your schedule and out of your schedule.

God is far from the prayerless and closer to the prayerful.

*Nothing is an excuse for 'prayerlessness', not your sin, not your failure, not you falling, not your mistakes, not your guilt and not your pain, not your tears.*

Everything that happens to you has one message, PRAY.

Prayer draws God to you.

Seed of Destiny

POWER OVER – DANGER, DISEASE AND DEATH

*When Jesus gave you power over the serpent, He also gave you power over danger.*

SCRIPTURE: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When Jesus gave you power over the serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

Earlier, we saw that God gave us power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). We saw that the serpent represents deception.

In our study today, we shall take a further look at more of the things that the serpent represents:

1. Danger

The serpent represents danger. Whenever a snake is in a place, people begin to run helter-skelter because the snake is a dangerous animal. So, when Jesus gave you power over the serpent (Luke 10:19), He gave you power over danger.

2. Disease

The serpent also represents disease. The serpent bit the children of Israel in the wilderness. Moses had to make a brazen serpent on the pole to neutralize the effect of the serpent that bit them on the ground. (Numbers 21:4-9).

You know, the symbol of the medical profession is a lifted rod with a serpent around it. The serpent represents disease. There is anti-snake venom, an injection given to people when they are bitten by snake because snake bite is a disease. Snake venom causes disease in the body and it can even progress to death. But in Christ, we have power over the serpent.

3. Death

The serpent represents death. The serpent is a killer. Snake bites can lead to death.

I decree that you shall tread on all the forces of danger, disease and death in Jesus’ Name (Luke 10:19).

Remember this: When Jesus gave you power over serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make up your mind to exercise your power as a child of God.

2. *Ask God for the grace to tread upon the forces of danger, disease and death* .

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to tread upon the forces of danger, disease and death, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*"AMAZING STORY. ABOUT DEATH.*

*A man had a dream, in that dream he saw a lion which was chasing him. The man ran to a tree, climbed it and sat on one of the branches. He looked down and saw that the lion was still there waiting for him.*
*The man then looked to his side where the branch he sat on was attached to the main tree and saw that two rats were circling around and eating the branch.*

*One rat was black and the other one was white. He observed that very soon the branch will fall on the ground; the man then looked below again with fear and discovered that a big black snake had come and settled directly under him. The snake opened its mouth right under the man so that he will fall into it.*
*The man then looked up to see if there was anything he could hold on to for him not to fall down. He then saw another branch with a honeycomb. Drops of honey were falling from it.*
*The man wanted to taste one of the drops. So, he pulls out his tongue to taste one of the falling drops of honey, he observed that the honey was amazing in taste,. so he wanted to have more tastes and as a result, he got lost into the sweetness of the honey. He had forgotten about the two rats eating his branch away, the lion on the ground and the snake that was lying right under him.*

*Suddenly when the branch broke he remembered all the dangers and woke l from his sleep. Since this was a unique dream, the man went to a man of God to know the meaning of his Dream.*

*The man of God, after prayer and meditation said, "The lion you saw is your Death. It always chases you and goes where ever you go.*
*The two rats, one black and one white, are the night and the day. Black one is the night and the white one is the day.*
*They circle around, coming one after another, to eat your time as they take you closer to Death.*

*The big black snake with a dark mouth is your Grave. It's there, just waiting for you to fall into it.*
*The honeycomb is this world and the sweet drops of honey are the luxuries of this World.*

*We like to taste a little of the luxuries of this world and it's very sweet. Then we want to taste little more and then more. Meanwhile, we get lost into it and forget about our time, we forget about our Death and we forget about our Grave. Beloved, this is a clarion call to preach the gospel before it's too late, time waits for no man, you only have this second, but not this minute, not to talk of this day, how are you sure that tomorrow is yours? What excuse would you give not to preach the Gospel, time is not on your side, that is no longer tenable, tell the world that the end time is near, if you can't go to the streets to preach, then use this medium, use your data for the gospel and not on irrelevant issues, Jesus said "if you are ashamed of me before men, I will be ashamed of you before my father in heaven and vise versa"*.
