Bible reading- Matthew 13 : 1 - 23
Topic: Are you a Fruitful Ground?
The passage today tells us about the parable of the Sower, which our Lord Jesus Christ told to a large crowd of people who gathered to listen to Him. In the parable, we saw that the seeds fell on four different types of grounds. One was by the road side. The second was a rocky ground. The third was a ground full of thorns, while the fourth was the good ground. These grounds received the seeds, but only the fourth ground, which is the good soil produced fruits. It was the good soil that was fruitful. When our Master gave the interpretation of these grounds, it became easier for people to know if they were fruitful ground. If you hear the word of God and you don't understand it, you are like the seeds that fell by the roadside. If you hear God's word and you allow troubles and persecution not to allow you enjoy the benefits, you are like the seed on rocky ground. But if you hear the word of God and you are making progress in your walk with God, only to allow the cares and riches of this world to choke you, then you are like the seeds that fell among thorns. You are a good ground if you hear hear the word of God and it produces fruits of peace, joy and righteousness. So, my brothers and sisters, which type of ground are you? Are you fruitful in the things of God? Has the cares of this world or tribulations affected your christian journey in negative ways? We must cherish the word of God, guard it seriously and make it fruitful. It is only then that we can be fruitful and useful to God. May God's words make meaning in our lives and produce fruits through Christ our Lord Amen
Gdmorning and Happy Sunday.

Bible reading, Matthew 10: 37 - 42
Topic-Take Up Your Cross And Follow ME
As Christians, we must follow our Master. To take up our cross and follow Jesus means we must be ready to make sacrifices ( including accepting insults and persecutions) because of Who and What we believe. Do not be discouraged. Keep following Christ and follow Him closely. Brothers and sisters, are we truly following Christ? What sacrifices are you making because of Jesus? What crosses are you carrying because of your faith in Him? If you take up your cross and follow, Jesus. He will count you worthy of His kingdom, which is our goal. May God help us in our journey of faith to carry our cross faithfully to the end through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Our reading today is from the Gospel of Luke 16: 1 - 13 and our topic is: You Cannot Serve God and Mammon. The Lord Jesus Christ is saying that we cannot serve God and be involved in a greedy pursuit of wealth or trying to make money by all means whether fair or foul. In our days, money has become a "god". and People are doing so many things in order to make money. We hear of money rituals, kidnapping for money and all sorts of terrible things. Yet the same people call on God. The Lord Jesus Christ has declared that it is not possible to serve the true and living God and serve Mammon. I therefore ask you: What is most important to you? God and His will or the greedy pursuit of wealth? When the chips are down, will you choose the true God or Mammon. God is the only Master Who is worthy of our service. May we receive grace to serve God fully and faithfully till the end of our days through Christ our Lord Amen. Shalom

Our reading today is from the Gospel of Luke 15: 1 - 10 and our topic is: Joy in Heaven Over a Sinner Who Repents. When a 'sinner' is found and he or she comes to God in repentance, there is Joy in heaven. The angels and even God rejoice when a person on the way to destruction comes to accept Christ as Lord and Saviour. In case you have not experienced the salvation that Christ offers, are you ready to be saved now so that heaven can rejoice because of you? Or if you have been saved, what efforts are you making to bring others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ so that there will be joy in heaven because of your efforts. God rejoices when lost sinners are saved no matter how far they had gone away from Him. We must play our parts to create the type of joy that happens in heaven when a sinner repents and accept Christ as Lord and personal Saviour. May God help us to play our part for there to be joy in heaven because of the salvation of sinners through Christ our Lord Amen. Shalom

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers23:19]._
{Have you received words from the LORD that seem it is not going to come to pass or that seem already late to be fulfilled? Remember Lazarus was already dead for four (4) days, before the words of Jesus that his sickness was not unto death came to pass. God does not work with the time of man, HE doesn't come late!;
Child of God; I declare every argument going on in your mind against the Promises of God deleted,
Receive the grace and courage to stand upon and wait on the LORD until that which He has promised comes to fulfilment in your life, in the Awesome name of the only begotten son of God - Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
May the world's and promises of God, come to fulfilment in your life with speed in Jesus Christ mighty name I pray Amen. Have a refreshing and flourishing month and in this quarter ending of the year, you and yours will never see shame or disgraced in the ALMIGHTY name of Jesus Christ Amen. You are lifted Amen.

*Do not Pronounce Judgement before the Time*
_(Friday 2nd September 2022. Read 1 Cor. 4:1-5, Ps. 37:3-6,27-28,39-40, Luke 5:33-39)_

_*“Therefore, do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God.” (1 Corinthians 4:5)*_

A small girl was holding two apples in her hands and her mother asked for one. To her mother’s surprise, the little girl held one of the apples and bit it. She chewed it with delight, then waited for a while, took the second apple, and bit it also. The mother felt embarrassed by her behaviour. Then after a while, she held one of the apples to her mum and with the purest innocence any child could muster said: “Mummy, take this one, it is sweeter than the other one.”

It is in our human nature to judge people whether good or bad. Most times, our judgment is based on what we can see or what we think we know about them, or based on who we are. St. Paul is teaching us today not to be too quick to pass judgment because only God has the capacity to “bring to light the things now hidden in darkness…” St. Paul’s words are part of his response to the division in the Corinthian Church between those who were for Apollos and those for him.

To those who were on the side of Paul, he says: “who are you to declare me a saint?” and to those who were against Paul, he says: “even though I am not aware of anything against myself (my conscience is clean), I am not thereby acquitted.” Paul’s overall intention here was to break division, to make the people refrain from taking sides and realise that both Paul and Apollos are imperfect, yet powerful, instruments in the hands of God.

I admire the fact that in his admonition to the Corinthians, Paul made no single negative statement about Apollos who had been made a rival to him by the people. This is very instructive. There are many men and women of G

On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves. Zechariah 12:3 NLT.

Beloved, this morning God is reminding you that He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. The hope of all glory says you are immovable! Don't ever be afraid. No matter the gathering they will only hurt themselves.

I pray that God will make you an immovable rock, any man, woman or demonic altars that will try to move you from where God has position you, will hurt themselves in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. Shalom beloved, immovable rock.

Today, Our topic is Be Humble. One of the character virtues that we should have as Christians is humility. It is to regard others more than ourselves. We don't have to push our ways or put ourselves forward all the time. The parable in today's reading speaks about people who were invited to a feast. Our Lord Jesus Christ humbled himself to the point of dying on the cross. Humility is a type of character to be cultivated. We may appear to be very important personalities in our own eyes but there could be several others who are more important than us. Are you willing to follow the example of Christ in His humility? Do you want to be like Him in character? It is the way to go. If we humble ourselves, God will exalt us. I pray that God will help us to consider ourselves as nothing so that God can work to lift us up through Christ our Lord Amen .Shalom

True peace of mind cannot be achieved by force or merely invoking the word peace, it can only be attained by training the mind and learning to cultivate inner peace, it is a calm and gentle state of mind that is guided by the word of God. courage is the drive to do what you want. Your body holds deep wisdom, trust in it, learn from it, nourish it, watch your life transform and be healthy. A private life is a happy life, there is no illusion greater than life. There is no power on earth more formidable than the truth. No matter how far lie travels, trust will eventually catch up with it. The Lord drives.....Gd, blessed Saturday
