because your mercy is as high as the heavens.

MARK 7: 31-37; GOSPEL OF THE DAY: Jesus then left the neighborhood of Tyre. He went through Sidon and the territory of the Ten Cities to the Sea of Galilee. Some people brought to him a man who was deaf and who also had a speech defect. They begged Jesus to lay his hand on him. Jesus took him away from the crowd to be alone with him. He put his fingers into the man's ears, and after spitting, he touched the man's tongue. Then he looked up to heaven, sighed, and said to the man, "Ephphatha!" which means, "Be opened!" At once the man could hear and talk normally. Jesus ordered the people not to tell anyone. But the more he ordered them, the more they spread the news. Jesus completely amazed the people. They said, "He has done everything well. He makes the deaf hear and the mute talk." HALLELUJAH.

Trust the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths smooth.
Do not consider yourself wise.
Fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

LET US PRAY!!! Heavenly Father, in the quiet sanctuaries of our hearts, we yearn for Your guidance to navigate the treacherous waters of conflict. Grant us the wisdom to see beyond our limited perspectives and the courage to embrace Your boundless love. Where there is discord, let us sow seeds of peace; where there is hurt, may we be instruments of healing.

Transform our spirits, O Lord, that we may relinquish the chains of stubborn resistance and wrap ourselves in the cloak of Your divine patience and understanding. Empower us, through Your Spirit, to love without condition, to extend grace without hesitation, and to foster unity with unwavering resolve.

In the tender and mighty name of Jesus, we entrust our journey toward peace to You, confident in Your promise to guide us every step of the way. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER! O Loving Architect of my soul, breathe Your life into the parched places within me. Mend the shards of my heart with Your tender grace. In gratitude, I acknowledge that no mountain is too steep, no ocean too vast for Your encompassing love. I thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your omnipresence—that You journey alongside me, and also chart the course ahead. May I always remember to relinquish my troubles into Your capable hands, trusting in Your sovereign ability to do what only You can. I ask this with a spirit of hope, in the healing name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
