*THE GLORY WITHIN YOU*
Colossians 1:27 (KJV)
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

In 1848, a carpenter named James Marshall was building a sawmill in California when he noticed something shining in the river. It looked ordinary at first, but upon closer examination, it was gold. That single discovery sparked the famous California Gold Rush. For years, countless people had walked past that river, unaware that immense treasure lay beneath the surface.
The treasure was always there it simply had not been discovered.
Many Christians live the same way. They search everywhere for significance, strength, peace, and purpose, not realizing that the greatest treasure God has given them already lives within them. The moment you received Christ, Heaven’s greatest gift took up residence in your heart. Paul calls it “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
This is one of the greatest mysteries of the Gospel. Under the Old Covenant, God’s glory appeared upon mountains, in the tabernacle, and in the temple. His presence visited people. But through Jesus Christ, God chose something even greater, His presence now dwells within His people.
You are no longer trying to find God’s glory somewhere in the distance. His Spirit lives in you. The same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus, raised Him from the dead, and filled the early Church now lives in every believer.
This changes everything.
When you understand who lives within you, fear loses its grip. Insecurity gives way to confidence. Weakness is replaced by divine strength. You stop living as a victim and begin walking as a child of God, carrying His presence wherever you go.
Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:7 that “we have this treasure in earthen vessels.” We may appear ordinary on the outside, but we carry extraordinary power within. The value of a container is determined by what it contains. Likewise, your worth is not determined by your background, education, possessions, or past mistakes, but by the glorious Christ who lives in you.
Do not underestimate yourself because of outward limitations. God delights in revealing His glory through ordinary people who are fully surrendered to Him. Moses had a speech impediment. Gideon struggled with fear. David was overlooked by his family. Yet God’s glory within them changed history.
Today, stop looking around for what God has already placed within you. Feed the presence of Christ through prayer, worship, and His Word. Yield daily to the Holy Spirit, and the glory within you will become visible to the world around you.
You are a carrier of God’s glory. Live like it.
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for the priceless gift of Christ living in me. Help me to live with the confidence that Your Spirit dwells within me. Remove every mindset of fear, insecurity, and inadequacy. Let Your glory flow through my thoughts, words, and actions so that others may see Jesus in me. May my life continually reflect the hope and power of Your glory. In Jesus Name, Amen.
