The Power of the Gospel

Romans 1:16 (AMPC): "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance..."

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus made a way for you and me to live in Him, and to experience life His way. This Gospel is so powerful, it not only transferred us out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light; it empowers us to overcome and live victoriously in this world.

We could say the Gospel releases the effects of salvation. That means all the wonderful benefits of belonging to the kingdom of God are made available to us now and here! A full life of blessing, peace and joy is ours if we choose it.

Healing, wholeness, soundness and prosperity have been paid for. More than that, enjoying an intimate relationship with our Creator, being fully filled and flooded with His love and power is far more than we could have ever bargained for.

The fullness of what is ours through the Gospel of Jesus Christ can only be experienced when we choose to take the time to educate ourselves on what it offers.

Spending time in God's Word and investing in a meaningful relationship with His Holy Spirit is the way we expose ourselves to the Gospel's transforming power. As you make this your first priority, you'll never regret the extraordinarily remarkable life you've chosen.

Remain blessed.

Follow Your Calling, Not the Crowd!

1 Peter 2:21 (NKJV): "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:"

When the Word tells us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, it gives a clear description of what that would look like! 1 Peter 2:22 says, "He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips." The Bible says we become a new creation in Christ Jesus the moment we are born-again.

Our old, sinful nature that was under the control of sin - is completely gone and a brand new spirit that is one with the Spirit of God is created in its place!

That's why we are able to live like Jesus, and follow in His footsteps. The way we behave and speak changes drastically as we come under the control of the Holy Spirit. Too easily, believers fall into the trap of mistaken-identity.

They trade their God-given identity for the one they were saved from, and forfeit walking in victory over sin. We avoid this by keeping our minds renewed to the truth of God's Word and believing what it says about who we are in Christ Jesus.

The more we read the truth, the more we believe it; and the transformation becomes our reality. The Word of Truth not only sets us free from our past, sinful identity - it keeps us free to live a righteous life, filled with favour and blessing!

Spirit without Measure.

John 3:34 (AMPC):"For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaims God's own message], God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is the gift God makes of His Spirit!"

John the Baptist explained the relationship between Jesus and His Heavenly Father. There was nothing Jesus taught or did without representing the perfect will of His Father. He literally lived displaying His Father's character, spoke His Father's wisdom, and operated in His Father's power.

He was appointed and anointed by God to preach the Gospel, lay hands on the sick, heal the broken hearted and bring deliverance to those oppressed by the devil. Jesus spoke God's Word unashamedly and operated in the Spirit immeasurably!

Did you know that this is what we were called to live too? 1 John 4:17 literally tells us that as Jesus is, so are we in this world! We have a boundless supply of the power of God within us! We have His written Word and the promise that His Holy Spirit will give us all the wisdom we need, the moment we ask for it (James 1:5).

We have everything we need to carry our Heavenly Father's Presence with us and represent Him well, everywhere we go! Trust the Word and the One who makes it alive within you. Obey His lead and you'll begin operating in the Spirit without measure too!

Sow in Tears, Reap in Joy!

Psalms 126:5 (NKJV): "Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy."

When the people of Israel were violently taken from Jerusalem and driven as captives to a foreign land, to live amongst foreign people, who worshipped foreign gods, their hearts were broken. They longed for the fulfilment of God's promise to return to their Jerusalem, where they would be free to worship Him with all their might.

In tears they prayed and stood on His promise, believing their dream to return home would become a reality. The Bible says those tear-filled earnest prayers were seeds that brought a harvest of joy! If you have grown weary while waiting for the fulfilment of God's promises in your life, be encouraged today.

The Bible declares that Forever God's Word is settled in Heaven! That means, what He has promised you, He will surely do for you. Every prayer, sown in tears of earnest faith will produce a harvest of joy for you. Don't lose hope or draw back from your faith - because He is faithful who has promised and he is fully committed to fulfill it.

Remain blessed.

Walk by Faith!

2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV): "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

The Word of God is filled with promises for every believer (2 Corinthians 1:20). Yet, when we look around, there are many Christians not experiencing the reality of those promises.

There are too many scriptures to support that Jesus died for all God's children to be free from oppression, disease and lack. Since God's Word is infallible, and He is bound to honour it, we must keep looking towards scripture to find the answer.

In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus tells us faith in God is the key. He said whatever we ask, when we pray, we must believe we receive. That means even though we don't always see those things immediately, they are released to us the moment we pray with faith! They exist and have been dispatched to us in the realm of the spirit at that very moment.

It's our continued standing and walking in faith with thanksgiving that brings those promises into the natural realm. How do we walk by faith while we wait? Jesus answered that too! In John 15:7, He said if we abide in Him, and His Words remain and continue to live in our hearts, we will have whatever we ask. Since faith comes from us hearing, and hearing the Word of God - that's how we keep it alive in our hearts, while we stay vitally connected to Jesus. Today, start walking by faith and you will see every promise become your reality!

Remain blessed.

Speak Because You Believe!

2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV): "And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak"

Today, ask yourself a very important question: "Do you truly believe in God, and the credibility of His Word?" If your answer is "Yes!" then the Word tells us we must speak what we believe! Faith is never silent. It begins in our hearts when we hear the truth of God's Word; and it is set into motion when we speak God's Word, from the conviction of our hearts.

According to Isaiah 55:11, the moment we do this God's Word will not return without producing any effect. Instead, it will accomplish exactly what it promises!

That's why we can't believe and not speak. We can't be fully persuaded in our hearts and not open our mouths to declare what we believe. It's our words of faith that carry the supernatural power of God to create what His Word promises, and bring those things that don't into line with His perfect will.

Continually speaking the Word in faith, irrespective of people and circumstances that move contrary to what it promises, is what someone who truly believes does!

Remain blessed.

Monthly Letter To Our Partners.

Happy New Month and Praise the Lord – it’s Easter! Because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have not only been given access into the life of the Spirit, we can live from Heaven’s perspective too!

Isn't it amazing how easily we become caught up in the cares and fears of this world, that we become blinded to the abundant life Jesus paid for us to live? Instead of living free from agitating fears and thoughts that are subtly lined with dread, we live under the weight of them. Today, We want to remind you that as children of the Living God, this is not our portion!

Even though we live in this world, the Word of God says because of the risen Christ we are not of it. This means we must live life from a different perspective. The reality of Heaven should be on our minds at all times. Do you know we can avoid being entangled in the fears and pains of this world by having a constant flow of God’s peace and joy flowing into our hearts and minds!

I love the way Bill Johnson puts it: “The abundant life Jesus promised us is found in the unseen realm, so we can live from heaven to earth.”
Child of God you can live from heaven to earth, your Source and Preserving Power comes from heaven, Hallelujah!

Even though our reborn spirits are inseparably connected to the Spirit of God and we have unlimited access into the heavenly realm (the realm of the Spirit), heaven will never fully impact our lives unless we choose to keep our minds renewed to God’s thoughts. These are thoughts filled with heavenly realities. They aren’t from a natural realm perspective that’s tied to limitations, fear, worry, doubt and anxiety.

Look at what Colossians 3:2-3 (AMPC) says, “And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.”

The Passion Translation says to “feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.”

So what happens when things in our natural world, where we currently live bodily, get tough? What do we do when tragedy and calamity surround us? Do we just bury our heads in the sand and pretend these things aren’t happening?

No, the Bible doesn't negate the dangers and challenges and devastation in this world; but it does show us how to overcome every one them we personally face victoriously, with peace and joy – because of the life we now have in Christ Jesus! We really can live this way as long as our thoughts are fixed on the perspective of heaven and not entangled with the perspective of this world.

The Word of God tells us what our lives are filled with – from a heavenly perspective. In other words, we can see what our heavenly reality actually is, in spite of what surrounds us in the natural.

The more we focus on what God’s Word says about us, we actually begin to live empowered by the supernatural faith it produces inside us.
Let’s take a look at what our reality is, from heaven’s perspective:
Psalm 23:1-5 (AMPC) says:
“THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.

Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.”

And here comes the golden prize:
“Surely only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.” – Psalm 23:6 (AMPC)

Take time to meditate on this; see it as God speaking it directly to you. This is reason enough for you to stop reading right now, get up and do a victory-dance around the room! HALLELUJAH!

No matter what is going on in the world around you, this is your reality!
So what do we do with the pressing challenges looming over our heads? Do we just ignore them?

No! Jesus told us to take those burdens and cast them at His feet.
1 Peter 5:7 (AMPC) says, “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”

When we surrender our burdens to the Lord, we can simply ask the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom on how to handle the situations, if it’s under our control to do something about them. If it’s not, we speak God’s life and favour all over them – and believe!

Mark 11:23-24 (AMPC) says, “Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”

This is how we deal with the challenges we face in this world... Always being determined to keep our thoughts fixed on God’s perspective – stopping us from being drawn back into a mindset of doubt and fear. Keep yourself hidden in Christ Jesus. Let His goodness, mercy and unfailing love follow after you – all the days of your life!

Now, I know this letter has been rather lengthy, but we are determined to remind you of who God says you are; and the life of peace, joy, and freedom you can have in Him – while you live in this world.

You are so precious to Him, and you are precious to us too. Thank you for praying for this ministry and supporting the vision God has put in our heart, to be His voice to the nations of this world, bringing life and freedom to all who hear us!

As you wait on the Lord concerning your financial seed this month, believe that as you sow into this fertile ground, it will produce a harvest of increase to not only meet your needs, but empower the furthering of His kingdom purposes. You are blessed to be a blessing to the nations.

Walk in the reality of the unseen world so you can influence your natural world with its life-giving power!

A Friend Like No Other

Psalm 25:14 (NLT): "The Lord is a friend to those who fear Him. He teaches them His covenant."

In a fast-paced, social media-driven society, people are more connected than ever; and yet so many feel isolated and alone. From the vast number of people on their contact lists, how many are actually counted as true friends?

Do we even know the meaning of true friendship? The Bible sets some pretty strong examples for true friendships that are marked by kindness, honesty, and loyalty. Friendships that motivate one another to become the best version of themselves!

The Word of God says that a single person can put a thousand enemies to flight; but two, who are in unity, can put ten thousand to flight. Jesus is the greatest example of a friend we will ever have.

He is loyal and faithful to those who reverently fear Him, and promises to personally teach them His covenant ways. By His Spirit, He teaches us how to walk righteously and keeps us securely positioned for victory.

Determine to invest in your time spent with Jesus. Acknowledge Him in all you do and enjoy the gift of knowing Him as your friend.

Remain blessed.
