WHAT DOES GOD SAY ?

2.WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT HOMOS*XUALITY AND LESBIANISM ?
Just as most people who oppose these sinful, shameful, ill acts detest them, God also detest and shun them even more. In Leviticus 18:22, God said "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman;that is detestable". In another translation you see : "No man is to have s*xual relations with another man; God hates that". The 'man' used in the above quotes refer to both males and females separately as we can derive the following from the statements: 'No woman is to have s*xual relations with another woman; God hates that".
Homos*xuality and lesbianism are depravity of the participators (Romans 1:28) and unnatural (Romans 1:26-27, Jude 1:7) because they are not among the programme of s*x which God carved out for man nor were they among His plans for us when He made mankind. For He made the woman for the man (Genesis 2:22) and as a result the man for the woman, 1 Corinthians 11:11-12.
One terrible thing about these acts is that in the Bible, those who engage in them are referred to as dogs, Deuteronomy 23:18, Revelation 22:15.
Even your dictionary acknowledges these acts as wrong, by referring to their participators as sodomites (citizens of the nation known for homos*xuality and other vices, and which God destroyed alongside the inhabitants therein). Homos*xuality both in males and females is s*xual immorality (s*x act which makes one impure and worst of all puts them in the danger of God's wrath. Leviticus 18:22 & 30 and 1 Corinthians 6:9 &13, Leviticus 18:29 and Ezekiel 22:16. Whereas the others in their distinction between what is natural and unnatural, moral and immoral, usually refer to these acts as abominations (perpetrated by the sodomists).
Don't say you were born 'gay'. Who told you that when you were created it was planned that you would have s*xual relation with an individual who is of same s*x with you?
What are the consequences ? However the results and aftermath of homos*xuality in both s*x are both earthly and eternal. Earthly from the fact that the participators pay (most times dearly) for their ill acts starting from this very world. Researches have shown that most s*xually-transmitted infections or afflictions rather spread more and greater in the 'Homos*xual Community' than through the normal s*xual relation. (But this does not mean we should involve in fornication as contained in our previous text). God hates both. Homos*xuality (M & F) and all immoral s*x acts in general degrade the body, Romans 1:24.
Worst of all the consequences, there is the eternal consequence which is eternal damnation (burning) in Hellfire, 1Corinthians 6:9-10.
It's paramount to know that homos*xuality (as a depravity and punishment) came to existence as a consequence or result of (insatiable) lust and idol worship, Romans 1:22-27. Remember that idol worship is 'putting anything/anybody in the place of God, in one's life. Those who really need to make it to Heaven should avoid those 'two'.
BUT there is MERCY for us today in JESUS CHRIST. There is still hope for you and a way out if you have sinned, even if you have been involved in homos*xuality or lesbianism for a long time.(Romans 3:25) For through the Lord Jesus Christ and by His precious blood shed for the sins of mankind on the cross (Matthew 26:28), your sins can also be washed, forgiven and forgot if only you believe as you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, Acts 10:43.

You can say this verbal prayer (with all your heart) :
Lord Jesus Christ, I believe You can save me from all my sins. Forgive me all my sins and wash me in the blood you shed for me. These I ask the Father in Your name Jesus Christ, Amen.

We welcome you to the series -WHAT DOES GOD SAY ?- where we will be writing on (discussing) some of the questions people who want to be real friends with their Maker and make it to Heaven at last, could be asking in their hearts.

1. WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT FORNICATION (S*X OUT OF MARRIAGE) ?
Many false doctrines and deceptive lies from the pits of Hell are rising these days. Most of them are not even farfetched from the doors of some so-called denominations nowadays.
But thank God for His word (the Holy Bible). The Bible is where we get the real truth and it is where we get the answers to every questions about our stay here on earth. The Bible ought to be the 'guidelines' for our daily living. It can be described as the manual-for-daily-living to anyone who wants to be at peace with God and make it to Heaven at last.
The aim here is to clear whatever doubts you have on whether having s*x when you are not yet married (legally), is a SIN (wrong) or not.
FORNICATION is SIN. In the Bible (1 Corinthians 6:18) it was described as the only sin committed with and against the body. In Ephesians 5:3 it was described as an abomination among those who claim to know and worship God.Also in Colossians 3:5 and 1 Thessalonians 4:3, we see it is God's will that we should avoid and shun every forms of s*xual immorality (fornication/premarital s*x and of course adultery). He who lives in fornication knows not God (1 Thessalonians 4:5).

Run away from sin and run to Jesus and be saved from hell and eternal damnation.
What is sin ?
Sin is any action,word or thought that anyone could do,say or think that is considered bad(not good) and evil in the sight of God (Genesis 4:7).
Why run away from sin ?
Even in this world of human leadership (law), defaulters and criminals face the consequences of their wrong deeds whether at the law court or in the hands of set aside punishers. How much more terrible could it be when your name is recorded as one of those who sinned against the Almighty God and you are not forgiven and washed , then you die to go back to your Maker. Or the Son of God comes to bring those washed and prepared to His Father who is in Heaven (the place meant for peace, eternal living,rest, and for those who have believed in His(Jesus) name and walked with Him) and you are not included. Even in the Bible (2 Peter 2:4), when the angels who were in heaven (who were meant to worship,revere and obey God their Creator and Master and who are known today to be satan your enemy and his followers the demons) disobeyed and rebelled against God, they received a part of their punishment as they were thrown down from Heaven. Whereas the second part of their punishment is being burnt or consumed in Hellfire forever (Revelation 20:10). How much more could be on the line when it comes to you (a mere mortal without a power of his own) fornicating,stealing/robbing,lying,cheating,killing,aborting,gossiping/backbiting,defrauding and or giving in to adultery,homos*xuality and lesbianism and so on (the things that make God unhappy and or angry with you).
The devil/satan is fighting to make human beings whom God loves (like His own Son Jesus; John 17:23), to be like him so that he will not burn forever in hell alone. Do you agree to be with him ?
Who can you run to ?
Very long ago, it came to a point where God couldn't bear the sight of the sins and wickedness of man/humans. He wanted a way to make us come back to Him so that we would not perish in His anger, for He is our Creator and He loves us (1 John 4:9). His Son Jesus Christ agreed to die willingly on our behalf so that we may live (not in this evil world anymore) but with Him our Saviour Jesus wherever He is and will, and not die again but live forever.
Note that 'dying again' refers to when the soul of a human perishes in hell after he or she had left the body in death here in this world.
You can run to that Son of God whose name is Jesus Christ. He came to this world long ago in the form of human and was born like you and I as a baby by a virgin maiden through the mighty power of the Almighty God His Father, the power by which everything is possible (Galatians 4:4-5, 1John 4:9, Luke 1 30-31). And then, having lived as a human for thirty three years on this earth, taught men about God and heaven and performed wonders like the world had never seen before, He died for you and I on a cross, rose again to life on the third day (Acts 4:10) and ascended back to His Father in Heaven (promising to come back and take those who believe in and walk with Him and who are washed from their sins, to the place where He is). 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17. You can run to Him (Jesus) if only you are sincerely sorry for every wrong you have ever done in your life and then and only then you will be saved.
How can you be saved ?
Remember that God is invisible and therefore His Son (John 4:24). For you could be asking "Where can I find this Jesus who can save me so that I run to Him ?" The Lord Jesus Christ can see you wherever you are, He knows where you are now, what you just did some few minutes ago and what you are doing now. He loves you just as His Father also loves you and that's why He accepted to come and die for your own sins willingly (John 3:16,Romans 5:8). Believe He died for you, feel sincerely sorry for your sins (not pent-up emotions), if possible cry out to Him and weap, tell Him (Jesus) about all the sins you can remember you committed in the past and that you are sorry and will not go back to do or say them again. Ask Him to come and live in you (your heart) and be your Lord and Saviour and then you will be saved. You can't even imagine the joy and peace that would fill your heart (Job 22:23-27, Isiah 61:10).
Here is a prayer you can say (with your voice):
Lord God Most High, I believe now that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins. Please forgive me of every wrong I have ever done in my life as I repent now and forsake them all. Father wash me from all my sins and let my name be written in the Lamb's book of life. Lord Jesus come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. These I ask and pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

If you said that prayer sincerely, you are now a child of God, a new person with a new life filled with goodness. Believe it ! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Look for and start attending a Bible-reading, believing church or visit any 'Assemblies Of God' Church nearest to you and start reading the Holy Bible (God's Word).
