HAPPY SUNDAY, DEAR PARISH FAMILY! ⛪❤️
Today, on this Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time, we gathered as one family to celebrate the Holy Mass, listen to God’s Word, and rejoice in the life and activities of our parish community.
📖 TODAY’S READINGS
First Reading: Ezekiel 18:25–28
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 25:4–9
Second Reading: Philippians 2:1–11
✝️ Gospel: Matthew 21:28–32
“YES” WITH YOUR LIPS OR “YES” WITH YOUR LIFE?
Jesus gives us the story of two sons.
One said “No” to his father but later changed his mind and went to work. The other said “Yes, sir” but never went.
And suddenly, the Gospel becomes very personal.
Sometimes we can say “Yes, Lord” in church, pray our prayers and profess our faith—but what happens when we leave the church?
God is not only interested in the “Yes” we say with our mouths. He wants to see that “Yes” reflected in how we live, serve and love.
The good news? It is never too late to change. The son who initially said “No” eventually went.
So today, ask yourself:
Am I only saying “Yes” to God, or am I actually living my “Yes”?
CORONATION OF OUR NEW OKPARA & ADA 2026
We also joyfully celebrated the coronation of our new Parish Okpara and Ada 2026! 👑🎉
We congratulate them and pray that God grants them wisdom, humility and grace as they take up this responsibility of service to our parish community.
🌱 BAZAAR 2026 — “SOWING OF SEED”
Our parish community also continues its journey towards our Bazaar — “Sowing of Seed.”
Every seed sown in faith, every contribution, every sacrifice and every act of support helps us build and strengthen the work of God in our parish.
May every seed we sow today become a blessing for our parish tomorrow.
We thank everyone who continues to support, participate and contribute towards this important parish project.
Together, we sow. Together, we build. Together, we grow.
May God bless our parish, our youth, our families and everyone who continues to serve His Church.
Happy Sunday, dear parish family
