SISTERS' MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
Theme: The Spiritual Woman
Anchor Scripture: 1 Peter 2:5
The Sisters' Meeting held yesterday was a powerful time of spiritual reflection and growth. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit and teaching from Mama Ann, attendees explored what it truly means to be a Spiritual Woman—one who rises above fleshly desires and lives a life led by the Spirit.
The session focused on the three states of man:
1. The Natural Man – One who has not received Christ.
2. The Carnal Man – A believer still ruled by the flesh.
3. The Spiritual Man – One who is led and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
A Spiritual Woman, as taught, is not merely someone who engages in religious activities, but someone who:
✅ Walks in the Spirit daily (Gal. 5:16, 25)
✅ Is led and controlled by the Spirit (Rom. 8:14)
✅ Consistently bears the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23)
It was a timely reminder that spirituality is not a destination but a lifelong journey.
Growth in the Spirit requires:
1. Diligence in God’s Word (1 Peter 2:2)
2. Diligence in Prayer (Jude 1:20, 1 Cor. 14:4)
Another major point emphasized was obedience.
Real transformation begins when believers consistently yield to the nudging of the Spirit rather than the desires of the flesh.
Important commitments were also highlighted during the meeting:
📍Bible study should be a priority (No Bible Study, No Food).
📍Weekly hall prayers must be attended faithfully.
📍Monthly vigils and evangelism will hold every last Friday.
📍Wednesdays have been set aside as a fasting day (6am–1pm).
Attendees left with renewed clarity that while the flesh may be loud, the Spirit gives life—and as living stones, they are being built up for spiritual sacrifices pleasing to God.
Here’s to deeper growth, greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and a daily walk that reflects true spiritual matters.
