“WHO DO MEN SAY I AM”

That question Jesus asked his disciples I believe with a strong witnessing in my spirit was not in the public space even though there were on missions; it was behind closed doors just with the men who have sworn to follow Him at the cost of their lives!

I played the scene in my head literally; you know that point in scripture were you’re taken up to watch in a big screen what you were reading; that’s the case here. I saw these men who have followed Jesus at one point or the other give their response not born out of intimacy but what they heard others say yet they were all locked in with their master, JESUS so I loved that ‘my compassionate Jesus’ asked again and this time to ca their minds to what was really important.

He asked in Matthew 16 “…But whom say ye that I am?” Oh that question was like it was me He asked
Oh that question stung me; I felt his voice so loud in my heart reechoing WHO DO TOU SAY THAT I AM and so I broke down with drops of tears on my bible I took the bible away oh I sobbed as I spoke it all loud to Him YOU ARE THE CHRIST JESUS WHO DIED AND ROSE AGAIN, THE VERY SECOND PERSON IN GOD, YOU ARE MY LOVER….” As soon as I mentioned you are my LOVER booooom my eyes opened up to something I’ve been praying for! I could feel the joy in Simon Peter’s heart when he got a response from Jesus for the answer He gave.

“And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

I can go on and on but here’s what I want to drive home; every man who walked with God at the core of their walk has a personal revelation and encounter of Jesus that kept them on track and on the path. The devil will surely as always want to fight to steal those revelations and corrupt those encounters just as he did Peter who we later saw betrayed Jesus but a word a response from Jesus had gone ahead of him strong and worth more than billions of currency f any country Peter could bank and build on it.

And every dimension of God we encounter is a territory we hold a command of but we must know that God is revealed as healer to you and provider to another does not mean he is more of a healer than a provider; HE IS GOD and all virtues and goodness can be accessed in Him if we position ourselves.

I’ve always known following Jesus wholeheartedly is not negotiable for the woman who must reveal a solid dimension of Jesus she has met to her world that generations to come will never recover from.

There’s no woman whose message of Jesus is complete without sharing gospel bridges of their mess, mistakes, pains, scars, pleasures, small-big-win-and forge processes; God highlights on all of it and makes them a tool of reconciliation in the hands of the woman warrior!

Not one man has Jesus ever met with and left them the same only that He left them with a choice to decide what to make out the meetings! but if you really meet with Jesus you’d not desire anything mundane; you’d not loose your soul to this world!
He will so do something to your heart you’d wish He would spare you the dealings but all those are to make you conform to His image.

It is one thing to become and another thing to become with Jesus at the center. Every man every woman ever used by God has a story and that moment that led them to the feet of Jesus you just don’t know yet because you’ve not come close enough to hear from them personally what they never had the permission to share publicly.

Have you ever met two people of the opposite s*x in love? Especially the ones that their love paid off so well that they got married and they are able to build a home on/in it. I have met these kinds before and in between conversations they don’t fail to share (without knowing when they do) how they first met and what made them give their yes and all to the point of establishing something solid with such intimacy. Everyone of them had their memory guarded on how they first met and what made them give in to love. While they speak at different case scenarios, I carefully listen and made a lesson out of it that some, “were propelled by this first encounters to keep giving their all even when the tides are against them, oh some had reasons to quit but when they remember how it started and how they got here and for what reason; they drew up strength..”

Too often than normal many can’t remember how their love walk with the entirety of God began; they have lost memories/memory of how and what led them to Jesus and this is were it can be dicey to build back negative and ungodly bridges when life start fighting your stand with Christ. When the devil manipulates everyone and everything around you including yourself to make you give in, to slow you down in your love walk with Jesus, to make you regret giving him your life at first, to make you take it back leaving you with no traces of you ever giving it to Him at first, to make you question why you gave your life to Him in the first place whereas everyone outside Him is doing just fine. Oh trust me giving your life to Jesus is not a promise of no battles but a promise of IT IS FINISHED.

Do not be deceived, having begun in the spirit, don’t end up in the flesh! This is war against destiny, you have to brace up and this also means guarding encounters. What version of Jesus was revealed to you when you chose to give your life completely to Him? Do you still have that strong memory of it, have you built on it? “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭
It’s easy to give in to anything when you don’t know or can’t remember where you are coming from, when you don’t document on the crucibles of your heart the price you paid to see you get out of the pit at first.

Don’t loose sight of Jesus, even the scar(s) is/are enough reminders that God sent His Son who gifted us His spirit to help you become One with Him!

Your breastmilk was Gods provision to keep alive at no cost. You play all the roles, you guard your territory, you keep the gate, you buy oil. In your tears were the triggers that commanded heaven into your homes.

Oh mother; you wear love as a fabric and today we celebrate you and celebrate future mothers. Now I pray for you that your seeds will not be blown away by the wind! Your children will cause you to tear up in joy. You good labors will not be rewarded with agony!
