Topic: The Importance of God's favour in Marriage
Text: Proverbs 18:22
*Highlights* : God's favour is what gives meaning in Marriage.
When you involve Jesus in your marriage, you see grace abound. JOHN 2.
Whenever Jesus is involved in your marriage you keep seeing, God's solution in your marriage.
*What does it mean that he who finds a wife.* .it means that God is involved in marriage from the scriptures hence the favour.
*God's Providence in marriage.* Psalms 128:1-4.. It is the dear of God in Marriage that makes a man to seek for God's approval, hence when this is done this attracts God's favour.
*How do we flourish in marriage?* It is important to know how to manage your marriage, after doing God's will.
Example of Nabal had a good wife but he could not manage his wife and it scattered. It is important to learn and know how to manage the home.
1) The man is the Home Founder..Fulfil your obligation as a man. Look for a place to accommodate her, because she has been sent away by her parents to you, so be ready to receive her with all your heart. Learn not to express your differences before your children..don't shout when issues come but try and learn how to handle it as the founder of the union, don't go about bringing in your parents or parents inlaw (Proverbs 14:1, 31:13). To the woman as a wise builder..whatever your husband provides for you accept it with a joyful heart..wedding last only one day But Marriage last forever..very important. You are a helper so play your role well for he cannot do everything alone..
What should you do I. Marriage: Taking example of Potiphar (Genesis 39:1-6)..lesson here is whatever you hand over to your wife allow her to carry out the task..
Learn to see her as God's gift to you..leave authority first and let her contribute her own quota into the family.
My Sister learn to have a willing heart..the home is your home not just your husband's.
Don't destroy the home by saying your idea is the best but reason out with her..
Learn to appreciate your wife..and not always finding mistakes.
Learn to encourage and support each other and when you appeal these things then will you get the favour associated with marriage. God bless your union in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

John 14:17-21 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
