𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

𝟭. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿
The people you associate with consistently shape your thinking pattern, values, and perspective toward life. Over time, your mindset begins to influence your actions, habits, and ultimately your character. Good associations inspire discipline, wisdom, and spiritual growth, while wrong associations can corrupt a person gradually.

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” -- 1 Corinthians 15:33

A person’s environment is a major contributor to who they eventually become. Therefore, destiny is greatly influenced by association.

𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹 -- 𝟮 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝟭𝟯:𝟯–𝟱
Amnon’s downfall began with the counsel of a wrong companion named Jonadab. Instead of correcting Amnon’s evil desire, Jonadab devised a strategy that led him deeper into sin.

“But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab…” -- 2 Samuel 13:3

Jonadab’s counsel eventually brought shame, destruction, and judgment upon Amnon’s life. This reveals that the quality of people around you determines the quality of advice you receive. Wrong association produces destructive counsel, while wise and godly relationships preserve destiny.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” -- Proverbs 13:20

𝟯. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 -- 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝟮:𝟭𝟴

Daniel’s companions strengthened his spiritual motivation during a national crisis. Instead of discouraging him, they joined him in prayer and seeking God for mercy and revelation.

“That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret…” -- Daniel 2:18

Their association created an atmosphere of faith, unity, and dependence on God. Right relationships can motivate prayer, holiness, diligence, and courage. Likewise, negative associations can weaken spiritual passion and encourage compromise.

𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘦𝘵, 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.

Anyone who must execute priestly demands must acquire spiritual intelligence and follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit. Priesthood is not merely an activity but a divine calling sustained through intimacy with God in prayer, worship, the Word, and obedience. Through fellowship with the Spirit, a priest develops discernment, authority, and spiritual strength for effective service.

Priesthood also requires commitment to corporate fellowship, as believers are strengthened, sharpened, and aligned with God’s purpose through spiritual gatherings.

Hebrews 12:22–23 declares:
“𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘚𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘑𝘦𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘴, 𝘛𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘯… 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵.”

This shows that corporate fellowship is more than a physical meeting; it is a divine assembly where God’s presence, fellowship, and impartation empower believers for effective priesthood.

Therefore, spiritual intelligence, intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and steadfast fellowship are essential foundations to becoming an effective priest.

A “negative foundation” (whether spiritual, mental, or environmental) is not broken by one action, it is dismantled through consistent spiritual discipline and alignment with God.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻/𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱

𝟭. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
This is where it begins. You must consciously turn away from sin, past patterns, and anything that opened the door to negativity.
Repentance is not just saying sorry, it’s a change of heart and direction.

𝟮. 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱
Holding back areas of your life weakens your freedom. Surrender means giving God full control: your will, plans, relationships, and decisions.

𝟯. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
Deliverance is not just a one-time event, it is sustained in God’s presence.
Spend time daily in worship, prayer, and quiet reflection. This is where transformation happens.

𝟰. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱
Ignorance sustains bo***ge. The Word of God renews your mind and reveals your true identity.
Study intentionally, not casually.

𝟱. 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
Freedom is maintained by obedience. Even small acts of disobedience can reopen doors. Do what God says promptly and completely.

𝟲. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿
This is where you enforce your freedom. Pray with authority, consistency, and faith.
Address specific issues, patterns, cycles, limitations and speak God’s Word over them.

𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐒

For anyone to walk in their destiny, they must first find themselves. And in the process of finding oneself, there is a need to diligently search the Scriptures because every destiny is contained in God’s Word.

However, it is only when you begin to search that you discover what has been written concerning you. Until you seek, you may remain unaware of your divine assignment.

As it is written in Psalm 40:7–8:
“𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘐, 𝘓𝘰, 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦: 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦,

This reveals that there is already a divine script concerning your life. Your responsibility is to find it and align yourself with it.

When you discover what is written about you and begin to walk in it, you are properly guided. It becomes your escape from the plague of 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗦 and positions you to live with clarity, purpose, and direction.

Topic: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗬 (Part 1)

To understand the prophetic, one must clearly discern its source and nature.
The difference between the Spirit of prophecy and witchcraft is not minor, it is absolute. The Spirit of prophecy flows from the Holy Spirit and operates in complete submission to God’s will, bringing direction, edification, and life.

Witchcraft, on the other hand, is rooted in rebellion and seeks to manipulate outcomes outside of God’s authority. Scripture establishes this clearly:

“𝘙𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘣𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘺”

This means that whenever a person insists on their own way against God’s instruction, they step into a principle aligned with witchcraft.

This truth is further illustrated in 𝟷 𝚂𝚊𝚖𝚞𝚎𝚕 𝟷𝟼:𝟷𝟺, where the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit troubled him. Saul’s earlier disobedience and stubbornness created a separation from God’s presence, leaving a vacuum that exposed him to another influence. This shows that spiritual authority is sustained by obedience and alignment with God, not position or appearance.

The prophetic, therefore, requires yielding to the Holy Spirit, not self-will. It is not about control but surrender. While prophecy expresses God’s mind and purposes, witchcraft enforces human desires through manipulation. One brings peace and clarity; the other produces confusion and oppression. True spiritual progress comes when a believer remains under God’s authority, allowing His Spirit to lead, rather than attempting to achieve outcomes by force or stubborn insistence.
